I live in Missoula. We have a steady influx of people moving here from Washington and California, and it's definitely changing our city. Can't really say it's for the better. Very sad.

I'm moving from WA as a political refugee. Planning on Billings as its the only big city that isn't completely taken over by Democrats.

As a Norwegian I love Montana because it is quite similar to Norway, and the big pro is that alcohol is not as expensive as in Norway, he, he.🥃

I live in a tourist city in South Carolina so i know what its like dealing with tourism. its truly a double edged sword.
South Carolina has grown out of control. Out county is growing at a rate of 2 thousand residents a month, with no improvements to the roads to handle that level of traffic. I plan cannot take it anymore and have listed our home, ready to move on.
Me wife and son are planning a move to possibly Montana and are interested in the Kalispell White fish area.
looking for acreage, no hoa , im a contractor and look forward to building our forever home on land.
Thank you for your videos, and the time involved in making them.

You would deal with the same exact issues here. Whitefish is extremely expensive, similar to an Aspen or other expensive resort town. Look at Zillow, homes are well into the millions.

The one thing Montanans require is if you move here from a liberal state leave it there, don't bring it here.

Better yet just stay where you're at. Political correctness spreads like a damn virus. They ruined my home state of Washington and now are moving on to do the same in Idaho, Montana, etc.. I need a good place to retire and I'm trying to get ahead of them to some place they won't ruin soon. I still don't know how deep into the heartland I need to go. I just hope people in Montana realize there's a lot of us that want to move there to be among you and keep things how they are, not change anything. I think the first thing I do when I move is change my license plates. ;)

@@johnirwin1837 There’s no way you are fully right wing without blindly following. People just seem to follow whatever their news outlets, or parents said. A good example being Candice Owens, who doesn’t want to believe in global warming because it’s the “republican viewpoint”.

Do you have Uber? Lived in Denver for the last 20yrs, gave up the hastle of a car 14yrs ago..... and yep, the Vespa is my transportation. I like a small life where I can walk to everything; ride my bike or Vespa during warmer months.
Formerly Aspen 1991-2001. Fun and awesome for the first few yrs when it was still small (= one traffic light, McDonalds was the only chain resturant, & we had two 'Off Seasons'. Authenticity soon bled dry & had morphed once chain boutiques (Channel, ect) moved in & Aspen became a mini LA😢.
I miss living in a small town w/ the wilderness right out your back door.
    Cheers to you & yours
