I met my first furry when I was 15 at my first anime convention. At the time I didn’t know what a furry was, all I saw was a big blue and white dog. I ran up to them and yelled “I’m here for the anime convention too! Can I hug you?” They were super nice and let me hug them. To me it was like a giant stuffed animal come to life.

As a cosplayer I know it's not the same thing as being a furry, but I see the appeal of dressing in costume. Furries to me aren't that different to cosplayers, so when I see them I show the same respect they would show me. Cosplayers and furries aren't that different, we basically just want to make the world a more magical and interesting place and have fun doing it.

My mom only knew what furries were from the NCIS episode then she watched Lucifer on netflix which does furrries a bit better in part of it. Lucifer isn't perfect but they really get the fursuits more like modern day fursuits you see all the time rather than the older ones. From what I know they got some actual fursuiters for Lucifer. Honestly the Lucifer episode about furries taught my mom a bit more about them and it makes it easier to show her some furry things.

As others have already said there's painted mesh in the eyes, HOWEVER, some suits clearly have solid plastic eyes.. in this case there's a meshed/blackened area near the corners/tear duct area of those eyes Vision is pretty iffy though. My friend made her own fursuit and she will get double vision from it even though it's really well made.
Well it depends on the type of stable it is. If it's a standard farm then yeah, I get what you're saying, but also never underestimate how much money a place makes by renting horses out for things like rides, carriages, event, or if they have a show or race horse that they stud.
Alot of the furry community gets inspired to be furrys by Disney movies such as, zootopia, Robinhood, aristocats, recently bluey, its rare but some people was inspired by Mickey himself, disny had a lot of anthropomorphic characters so growing up with it can make it plant into your subconscious so most furrys where inspired by Disney

For me I was a furry at 7-8 and would mimic my childhood dog and even want to be a dog. Total cost of my fursuit 350+ something I’m trying to get a job while also running an Etsy shop. I can’t say for sure probably middle school when I looked up a furry lol I was the weird kid in school who would wear a tail to class and people would bark at me and even post pictures and videos of my tail without permission. @tertiarygaming7854 i don't think any kind of suit of gonna cost you $850 a month. Besides, in a year that'd be a bit over $10,000. Most people are making over $30,000, which is basically nothing these days.
She's talking about what she's wearing, which isn't the full suit. "Total" in this case would mean the head, gloves, and tail. The full suit with the bodysuit and everything would cost at least $2500.

For me I was a furry at 7-8 and would mimic my childhood dog and even want to be a dog. Total cost of my fursuit 350+ something I’m trying to get a job while also running an Etsy shop. I can’t say for sure probably middle school when I looked up a furry lol I was the weird kid in school who would wear a tail to class and people would bark at me and even post pictures and videos of my tail without permission. My family doesn’t give a shit but they think it’s for Halloween “what’s it for” is the constant question but I do it because it’s fun 😊 evil furries? ABSOLUTELY I had a friend who annoyed me because he always compared our fursuits and characters as if to say “look how much better I am than you” we’re not friends anymore and I still have fun with my furry friends 😊
