Morgan and Jesse love to downplay and softplay how things really were back in the day for black Americans.
I understand Morgan Freeman's point but why not just say he hates White supremacy and racism then? Because that is the reason why there is a reason to have a bhm in the first place.
Kinda like what happen to Arsenio Hall. Once he was the biggest thing in industry to talk and advertise but as years went by it so many outlets to go to.

Interesting! It’s not like I care, but I had no idea. I know we have a Latin history month and I don’t even know when it is or care if I’m completely honest
Carter G. Woodson chose that month because Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln were born in that month. I could understand Frederick Douglass but Abraham Lincoln didn't care about Black people and wanted our ancestors out of the U.S after the civil war.
I kinda agree with Morgan, ive researched black history month a bit and i respect why it was created. After all that segregation stuff was over, something was needed from America that said "we apologize" after all that protesting just to be treated equally was insane. After all that, our morale was low, confidence was low and alot of us didnt care. Black history month was to boost morale and to inspire us, but it doesn't have that effect anymore. We should call it, American history month.
We also have Latin history month! I can’t remember what month it is and I kinda get it, but I feel like it’s time to stop separating everyone since we have have been here for centuries. Specifically bLK people because most of them have never ever been to Africa.
By that logic we should change September from hispanic heritage month to American heritage month, October from Italian American heritage month to American heritage, March from Irish American heritage month to American heritage month... etc etc etc... imo February should be change to Black Heritage month
You didn’t do enough research if you did you would know Black Americans were celebrating and teaching our own kids about Black History on Black History week the 2nd week in February before the Government ever started to acknowledge our history during Jim Crow! Black Americans took that time out and we we learned more about our African lineage it grew from a week to a month it was never part of the curriculum until after the civil rights era so it was basically fun mixed with knowledge for Black American children!! We created black history month just like we created Juneteenth for us not the government or white Americans

She’s always been a mess! I don’t even know who she is 😂😂😂
Nooooo, it weren’t no internet and it weren’t no man. That is who she is... Before any of that shit happened she was never stable mentally.
I miss Angela Yee.
Me too. I’m about to start listening to all the way up never knew I will miss her this much.
You two are the only ones that miss her
Nobody miss her
Me too bruh
Listen to her show then.
Ppl should deep dive into Morgan Freeman, He isn't who you think he is...
I dud a couple years ago he's been bought & sold too
Brown Skin for the Win. Come on now let’s not do Jess vs Angela Yee. 😂😂😂. Real talk ain’t nobody missing her tho 😂
Ignorant, always comparing people based off skin tone vs personality.
@@alishad3814 dummy, they both brown skin so what is you saying!? Trying to keep up with this comment you overlooking the fact everyone chose Jess over personality.
Not the teeth itching 💀😭
Isn't Morgan Freeman the same 🦝 that said if we simply stopped talking about racism, it will magically disappear?
Yes.
He was right
Let Jess stay home
What if she don’t wanna stay home
@@dsampson380Make her
Then make her stay home
For real!
I was in the music business for 18 years as an artist development representative for Capitol Virgin Records, and I absolutely did the same.
They recycle this same tired Morgan's Freeman story every couple of years. I couldbt careless what an elder celebrity thinks of BHM. They always use entertainers to speak on social and cultural issues in our community. Yet you dont see other communities rely on entertainers for political and social hottakes.
shut up
I agree with Morgan, Everybody gets a whole month, we get 28 days and it's not celebrated, it's mentioned. And my birth certificate says I'm black not African American.
Everybody used to shit on Yee now everybody wants her back. Fickleness.
No people don't 😆
I don't! 😂
@@earljackson1483 Yes they do. Everyone complains about Jess once they've realised how ignorant she is
@@user-dv3kq3rm4h
I haven't seen that me personally she brings more humor and personality and it seems her co host resonate more with Jess than Angela yee but S/O to Angela yee
I used to like her the most
That's a respectable woman.. She about her business..
Lmao @ Morgan Freeman being 200+ years old 😭
~LOLOLOLOL...The DisRespect...LOLOLOLOLOL...1LOVE
He shook hope he lives that long with his sarcastic azz😂
Jess sounds like she doesn’t want to exhale the last hit.
Not making his teeth itch 😂
I used to say this all the time and my mother would think something was wrong with me, 😂
That sent me! 🤣
Lmao 🤣 🤣
0:43 Tems is so right and I’m definitely with her
Talking about being sexy sounding like Jadakiss 😂
🤣😂🤣🤣
Morgan Freeman is an elder. Morgan is an successful black American who has experienced the American Dream. I RESPECT Morgan Freeman and his craft but sometimes when I listen to Morgan Freeman interviews I get Jesse Led Peterson vibes! Morgan and Jesse love to downplay and softplay how things really were back in the day for black Americans.
I love Jess😂
Me too, I think she's a great addition to the BC.
Same❤
3:05 The event at Tamar’s concert happened in LA. I was there.
Jesse you wrong Somer was a fine chocolate sexy dressing comedian!
She acknowledged Sommore at the 1:50 mark
I understand Morgan Freeman's point but why not just say he hates White supremacy and racism then? Because that is the reason why there is a reason to have a bhm in the first place.
I’m not gone lie the breakfast club is soo bad now 😢how did it get this bad
Too much woke political correctness
Kinda like what happen to Arsenio Hall. Once he was the biggest thing in industry to talk and advertise but as years went by it so many outlets to go to.
Explain how is it so bad now, like what are you expecting???
What makes you say that? I’m genuinely curious. I like the dynamic with Jess so much better than the one they had with Angela Yee but there’s a part of me that is starting to agree with you.
How is it bad? Same old BC
200 years is crazy
Charlamagne and Envy hold it down ✨️ just add a rotating guest host once a week in the mix and keep the party going, Jess vibes spooky
Back then just like now....They didn't really want to discuss black history.... Black history month forced the subject. Do y'all think they would've just treated it as American history? Hell! They are eliminating it all together as we speak. People have short memories and forgot why we fought for it in the first place.😢
Jess needs to work on her speech dam 😂
I know right😂I guess it's part of her appeal.
Cut her some slack, she is pregnant😊
@kapkanu4385 Nah she was like that before she was pregnant too 😂
She really does!
Mr. Freeman, I'm a 70+ year old white man to begin with, apparently none of us were born perfect (speaking for myself).
When I read the comment, Black History Month makes me so mad it makes my teeth itch. My first impulse was thinking "Well, take those things out and scratch them!"
You've done good work and have been entertaining. Thank you.
Charlemagne just being extra annoying this morning
ALWAYS 😮
The OG female comedians goin to be on Jess head. lol. I can think of a few sexy dressing women comedians
Name them
Naa fr I’m waiting on this I never seen a female comedian I would 😏😆😆😆
Name 3 other than Sommore.
#Sommore🥰
Facts 😂
Im with Morgan on this
I hate black pepper! 🤣
“Most Black people, we don't know where we come from. We think we came from slaves. We don't know our bloodline, and we're given Black History Month, and we take that like it's some gift to us" - kanye
Charlamane had to bring up the addiction
I wish more women would take her mindset! Wear modest clothing!! Its not only helpful to prevent stumbling blocks from happening, but its classier!! Most men with integrity can respect this.
TIMS IS THE BLUEPRINT. YOU LADIES NEED TO TAKE NOTES.
Tems bro. Start taking notes too
I am sick of hearing about Morgan Freeman's lack of knowledge.
Why does this keep coming up?
🗣️"DAMN‼️" lmaoooo charlamagne please 😂
I need this as a text tone 😂
Jess is in fact hilarious 😂
Jess is everything but pregnant Jess is EVERYTHING!❤😂
Lol wtf is looking at Jess? 😂
Yo y'all are funny ASF... Envy Charla and Jess smh at y'all and Morgan Freeman 😂😂
lol yall do know a black person chose which month to put black history month, right?
Interesting! It’s not like I care, but I had no idea. I know we have a Latin history month and I don’t even know when it is or care if I’m completely honest
Carter G. Woodson chose that month because Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln were born in that month.
I could understand Frederick Douglass but Abraham Lincoln didn't care about Black people and wanted our ancestors out of the U.S after the civil war.
Charlamagne said why and Jess said lets call her and see like they really got her phone 📱 number 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@bigolbabyhuey yeah that makes sense
@fearablackheaven1198 that's absolutely right, once it becomes acknowledged by the government, it's like it becomes "less than" also too soon
Next time just let her have the day off
Didn’t he try to date his grand daughter
😂WELL I BE DAMN?
Lets call her and see while talking about her being in jail is CRAZY 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I agree with Morgan Freeman y'all do the research
You and Morgan need to do research. Lol you probably dont know why February is Black history month.
Get a BBL and then cover it up because it makes some people uncomfortable!!
