New Goldfields towns reveal old silver relics and coins and antique dog licences

- On this adventure I travel to new Northern Goldfields towns. I manage to get onto some new ground and metal detect old silver coins and relics. I also get some rare dog license tags from old ghost towns and a horse cart registration plate. What a great session you had out there Bruce. Got some great finds. Funny, yes I could be tempted to go detecting for gold over there but there would be no hesitation to do the rubbish piles you have to play in. They look awesome.

How did you clean up the cart plate being so brittle? Thanks for sharing 👍
@@Working925detecting very carefully, quick dip in CLR then scrub with a fine steel wool soap pad, keep repeating until you get the desired look. Have to be pretty gentle.

Do you ever find bicycle license plates or old motorcycle plates.
@@paulevans5455 I do find the old bicycle license plates occasionally as some were brass, a couple of my old videos has them. The steel motorcycle and car plates are harder to find as they tend to deteriorate in those environments.
