Why don't we get these in the UK its so frustrating to find a good budget ebike as good as the one your reviewing
Nice review! No interest in owning an E-bike, but they are an interesting entry into the cycling world.
I personally owned this bike and I personally think this bike is absolute trash. 1.) I had to return it because they claimed it was running Samsung cells when in fact it doesn’t. 2.) The BMS for my unit was defective. 3.) Super duper heavy and clunky. 4.) Personally I prefer a torque sensor for which this doesn’t have. For the price, it absolutely should. All that said, it looks nice but I had to return it. I ended up buying an Aventon.
If this e-bikes will do 30 MPH, it is basically illegal to operate in most places in the world. Sadly, it's not for our, the bicyclists safety, it's for the safety of everyone else.
I get where you're coming from, but it seems unfair that e-bikes, which can hit 30 MPH, face so many restrictions. Meanwhile, cars, which are much faster and potentially more dangerous, are largely unrestricted. It's like saying we don't trust bike users to be safe, but car drivers, who can cause far more harm, get a free pass. Isn't it time we reevaluate these double standards and push for fairer, more balanced regulations?
@@neliomp To legally operate a motor vehicle you need to take two tests and pass both. Once you do so, you are issued an operator's permit which can be suspended or revoked at any time for just about no reason. In most jurisdictions, you also must register your auto with the local authority, display proof of such registration, and carry large sums of insurance in case of a collision. None of this is required in most areas for operation of an e-bike.
@jamesmckenzie3532 so put that in place for bikes. However, does this mean that you can still trust one and not the other? It's ridiculous.
@@neliomp It takes a lot less of a skill set to properly operate a bicycle than any automobile. I have decades of doing both. Everything from a beach cruiser to a semi. The only difference with an assist bike (not a motorcycle) is that the power comes from both you and a low power electric motor. Some people are not capable of self-powered movement on a bicycle. This changes when the primary power is either a 100 HP fuel or electric motor supplying power to move a one ton steel structure.

Just the name, "Puckipuppy" reeks of Chinese garbage. It wont last 1000 miles and when online e-bikes break, and they will, WHO is going to fix it? YOU ARE. Bike shops won't touch one of the off-brands. Like my nightmare ArielRider Grizzly P.O.S.. It was fun the first 500 miles while it worked, since then its been endless breakdowns, crappy online customer service, and in my small Oregon city NOBODY will work on it. Reliability & trustworthyness are the two most important things. BEWARE of online E-bikes and make sure your fire insurance is current. (Is Binian Gilmay the first Muslim to win a TdF stage? He is the first black also. Cool!)

The Community will pay u 2 weeks of real cycling holidays in the home of cycling...Italy...there the other real cyclists certainly will throw your Ebike to the nearest river and give u a Pinarello Dogma !!!
