@MADDISON MOORE It would technically makes more sense for the males to have flower. Males IRL tend to be flashier than the females. Takes the most famous exemple, peacocks. Females are brown with some shades of gray and green without a huge tails so that they can hides and run easier from the predators (same thing for the babies). In reverse, males are very flashy with tons of colors and a huge tails with eyes motifs to attract the females and scare away predators. Applied to leafeons, the males could have huge perfumed flowers as tails to impress the females. They could also use these flowers to project pollen and deadly toxins on their ennemies.

Actually look at the anime. Girls have eye lashes while the boys don't. The boys are more sharp or square while the girls are more curve. Even if it's a little. With the ones who have narrowed eyes they have extended eye lashes. Look at MLP. The female ponies that have long eyelashes compare to the male ponies.

Though I can somewhat appreciate the artwork, the fact that these art pieces are so stereotyped bothers me. It strongly points towards gender roles in these designs (such as making all of the females incredibly girly and the males incredibly masculine). Doing things like adding eyelashes to the females, making Sylveon blue and yellow, et cetera, just don’t seem to work well. As much as I love the male sylveon’s palette, it simply doesn’t fit the Pokémon. Making the females prettier than the males also somewhat detaches itself from biology, as in nature, males are often prettier when it comes to sexual dimorphism. This is reflected in Unfezant’s design. These could have had the potential to be very creative and interesting, but instead, they just seemed to be very gender role stereotyped designs, and even though some archetypal things can be used well, stereotypical things make it feel subpar and unoriginal. I feel like a more biological and less societal approach to the designs would have benefited them greatly. (I apologize for the poor grammar and sentence structure, it’s currently very late at night for me! ♡)

Changing sylveons design to be more masculine and blue ruins the fairy typing, and also looks like the shiny version Vaporeons female part doesn't make sense bc the neck frills are used for moving in water, so making it seem as just a cosmetic type isn't useful. Eevee didn't need to be added, no need to do anything. Espeon didn't need to lose the Tufts of fur under the ears, Jolteon didn't need to get hair and a dress, and Umbreon doesn't need to look like a dog with a clipped tail. The person could've done much better with variants but chooses to use stereotypes which ruins many things.

What I see the genders of the Pokémon's: Eevee: Female before, now both Male and Female because of the new gender differences Vaporeon: Male Jolteon: Male Flareon: Female (I like your female version very much) Espeon: Female Umbreon: Male and Female Glaceon: Female Leafeon: Male Sylveon: Not sure, but I guess Female. I don't think the artist Is into this (intentional) , just that is easier and faster this way , at least there is a point from were to start to transform/change the original picture and the process itself is less time-consuming: just made longer eyelashes and ,,hair,, and Is done . And easy to everyone understand what the new image represent (like the two stick man/woman on toilet doors) .If You can or want to add somethig else It become optional , cause the drawing itself has already reach its purpose .
Shiny Sylveon is blue and stop making the "females" so feminine and males so masculine. Please study sexual differences in nature when doing stuff like this! Eevee has a small gender difference, the tail markings are more heart shaped on the female and that is all. No need to change the pokemon this much. Also stabilizer exist so use it.

Eevee didn't need to be added, no need to do anything. Espeon didn't need to lose the Tufts of fur under the ears, Jolteon didn't need to get hair and a dress, and Umbreon doesn't need to look like a dog with a clipped tail.
The person could've done much better with variants but chooses to use stereotypes which ruins many things.

It looks like their owners gave them makeup. Like the official gender difference between eevee makes a whole lot of sense! Usually females have shorter fur or the inside of their ears is different colored. Like for example a male gyarados has blue whiskers, while a female has white/beige whiskers.

I liked a majority of these except for the eyelashes on all of them, it's cute, but from a realistic pokemon model perspective they wouldnt have them.

Why the males have shorter hairs?! Come on! What's the problem with the Pokémon community with genres? Is there any pokemon too masculine to be a female, is there any pokemon too feminine to be a male? Is that even exist? There are lots of animals with no gender variations. Why will we add eyelashes to girls and muscles to boys? This is just really, really wrong. We don't need to separate genres. We don't need to fill out any resume with socially defined caractheristics to be male, or female. Your art is great, but... why, may I ask?

I like those own creations, but I am not really into the whole gender-stereotype thing, where the females have longer lashes or are cuter then the males.
I don't think the artist Is into this (intentional) , just that is easier and faster this way , at least there is a point from were to start to transform/change the original picture and the process itself is less time-consuming: just made longer eyelashes and ,,hair,, and Is done . And easy to everyone understand what the new image represent (like the two stick man/woman on toilet doors) .If You can or want to add somethig else It become optional , cause the drawing itself has already reach its purpose .

Shiny Sylveon is blue and stop making the "females" so feminine and males so masculine. Please study sexual differences in nature when doing stuff like this! Eevee has a small gender difference, the tail markings are more heart shaped on the female and that is all. No need to change the pokemon this much. Also stabilizer exist so use it.
