It depends what you want to do in the lounge. If you want to have a proper meal, a glass of wine and take a shower, it’s worth it. If you just go there and sit until next flight, you can skip it - you can go and chill in their recently opened Souk in the airport. Yes, midnight Friday is the most busy period, but you will find seats.
Going there this December 2023 with Qsuites, have a chance to enter the new Al Mourjan

You need to go there to the shower counter (turn left after entrance) and they will give you a queue number.
Upgraded tickets (Econ to Business) and business lite don't get free access. Award tickets get it.
