When you pay attention it's night and day when sound design is done well. It pisses me off that all video game voice actors are in a perfect recording studios and they talk with their lips touching the mic so they sound like they are in your ear. Then everyone just does their impression of "good voice actor guy" and try to talk dramatic and smooth with no hard K's or P's.
Well, I think it depends on your approach to sound design, whether you approach it from a soundman's or a movie director's lens. A soundman would prefer to eliminate every disturbance they can't get rid of and include them in post, where the realistic approach seen here is more likely to be taken by a director / producer who have a big say on the aesthetic of their sound and actually know what they want to hear. It also depends on if the game's 2D or 3D since in 3D you'd want the audio affected by the player's position from the source, where in a movie the positions are stationary & known in advanced.@@reeetawd
@@reeetawdthat's so they don't pop the mic. I don't really like the generic protagonist voices either, but game studios can't afford to do this, it's not even worth doing! This is gimmick acting, any voice actor worth guild pay shoudl be able to act in a booth

First time seeing Georgy acting in such a manner to get into character. It made me smile knowing his works are usually the cool, calm and collected characters, but here, it’s lively, kiddish and heartwarming (:
@J.Wolf90 yeah he's like the opposite of Tom Cruise. I know he does other stuff like directing and producing. I also saw an interview where he basically says he had his time in the spotlight and it's time for the new actors. Respectable as usual but we the people need Clooney

I did not expect them to actually be outside riding and running around. This partially explains why this movie is so good

Well the easiest way to make someone sounds tired of running is to be tired from running. Its just makes sense

One of my favourite Wes Anderson movies.
My favorite part about this movie has always been the voice acting and I never would have thought they did it like this.

Maybe…. Fox?
We need THAT dedication to the future animated movies
I wish studios would do this more performances you get are worth it

This was my favorite show when I was little, I was always excited to go to my grandparents because they would always turn on this show for me ❤️
I love it when voice actors actually act out what their characters do in the movie it makes the performance more believable
One of many reasons Wes is great, having voice actors act out their characters motions on location to get genuine accurate preformences
Well, this just elevated my love for this movie even more.
I love it when a voice actor gets practical with his work
That’s dedication to authenticity right frickin’ there.
