She said that if she were going to be a big name in “country music”, she’d have to be where the music studios were. She’s always had a vision. Her parents believed in her dreams and did everything they could do for her. Her father financed A TON of it in the beginning. Booked her, drove her, costumes, hotels, CD’s, it was all him. There’s a leaked phone call from her dad saying how much he does but that her mom just gets to enjoy the shows while he works a job and to get everything done for Taylor’s career. Both parents are still very involved with her career. She bought them a sprawling $5M 6k ft2 home in Nashville back in 2011. That would have been when she was almost 23 since her bday is at the end of the year on 12/13… just really amazing and says a lot about her and how much she loves them and how thankful she is for them every day. Her mom is a 3 time cancer survivor. (“Soon You’ll Get Better” is about that experience and she never performs it because it still hurts her to think about those scary years). Well… moving the family to Nashville worked out for her!! Wow. That was so adorable and incredible to watch. She’s always had a great mental attitude and a healthy way to process things.
