I don't know what you mean by saying "elemental" but classical music composers have been doing this for at least a 100 years from now. If I interpreted your words correctly I think in other words you can say "primitive". Igor Stravinsky is the greatest example of primitivism and his most famous piece The Rite of Spring is all about that. Another very famous composer is Bela Bartok, also hundred years old.

This video took a little more time and effort than usual but we hoped we could be able to give even a far idea of the supernatural atmosphere that still reign in these ancient, sacred wood. We were in central Italy, near a small, ancient village, Sorano. The roads were dug out of the rocks by the Etruscans, to be sacred roads within a necropolis in the wood. You can find them as Vie Cave (Excavated Roads).

We were in Central Italy, near the small villages of Sorano and Sovana. In the woods around there, the Etruscan excavated these incredible sacred roads in the rocks, inside the necropolis.
It is really a supernatural place! :)

We were in central Italy, near a small, ancient village, Sorano.
The roads were dug out of the rocks by the Etruscans, to be sacred roads within a necropolis in the wood.
You can find them as Vie Cave (Excavated Roads).
