Thank you for not referring to dyslexia as a defect or a tragedy but rather as a gift. I'm not dyslexic but I am autistic which is also an atypical cognitive function and I'm so tired of being seen as defective by much of society. We are all fearfully and wonderfully made by the same creative God and some of us He simply chose to wire differently. You are a breath of fresh air. God bless you and your family. ❤❤
Totally agree! God doesn’t make mistakes and chooses in his divine wisdom to make everyone special in their own unique way, some of that being special brain wiring. It should never be viewed as anything less than, no matter the difference! Everyone has equal value and importance in His eyes! God bless you! ❤️

We are using Tuttle twins as well! We haven’t got our books yet, but the study guide that came with it seems daunting lol. 24 pages on the first chapter! I would love to see a video of how you end up using it to make lessons or how you will format it in the rotation of your homeschool! Thanks for all the content ❤
My homeschooler will be reading CJ Lewis' Narnia series. We've read most of the classics already. I like how you used the word perspective. I relate it to critical literacy. Especially where certain books are criticised (aka 'cancelled'), I feel it is important for children to be able to implement critical literacy skills and 'pull apart' etc. I really like the history timeline. Steiner schools design their curriculum so it interlocks. Connections in maths can be made in another learning area in the same class/year level.
I can't believe it...haha, I have a 2nd grader, a 5th grader and a 7th grader...your videos have been so helpful. I have a 2 year old, but she focuses her homeschool time on coloring on the walls and chasing the dogs with a vacuum.
A little FYI 😊…If you’re wanting some more book study guides, I found some on Amazon the other day. They’re called Great Works Instructional Guides for Literature. There are a lot of titles to choose from. I haven’t used them personally, but I would like to incorporate them into our school day at some point. Maybe even great for summer reading. I don’t believe it’s Christian based, though.
Thank you for your content! You have helped our homeschool journey immensely! Not to knock what may be a wonderful science curriculum, but you may want to look into true biblical cosmology instead of indoctrinated NASA propaganda. The bible most definitely supports a non-moving earth with it set as the center of creation, not the sun. The lies run very deep with the space deception, which may not be the proper setting at this point in your homeschool, but it is worth learning about for yourself.
Thanks for your comment. I’d be curious which scriptures you are using to support this claim. If you’re thinking of Psalm 104:5 (He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved.), when you look at the original Hebrew, the word translated as foundation means a fixed or established place, which still supports modern science, not that it is immovable but that it is set in an established place that God created it to be in to support life. It’s also wise to keep in mind the genre of the book from which you reference. Psalms are poetry, and as such contain many figures or speech to convey a grander idea, as modern day poetry does, and do not always imply a literal meaning.

I am therefore planning on making everything myself, and I am a bit overwhelmed by it. My oldest is just beginng school, and she has three younger siblings, the youngest 7 months. I have a lot on my hands! Any good advice? ❤
@5:12 Wait wut? Johnny Tremain?? I thought I was the only kid in the world that was "forced" to read that book. It was actually a good book my mom gave me to read when I was 10-12 (long ago). Solid choice.

I love that you are homeschooling your kids in a place that I have heard it’s not as common! Way to go for listening to your heart! ❤️ I would check into Peaceful Press. They have several year long curriculum options for elementary/preschool age. The Kind Kingdom one is about European history and is a beautiful Christian Charlotte Mason method curriculum that covers most subjects in a literature based approach! thepeacefulpress.shop/products/the-kind-kingdom-bundle It’s all in English though of course, so that might be a challenge though if your kids don’t speak English. 🥴 I would definitely look into the Charlotte Mason method, which you could apply in any language by finding great books to read and discuss together with your own language and culture in mind. God did not intend for us to have sicknesses. Please understand that this is why he heals. We need to seek healing when face with these things.
