Thats so true XD

wow, the sound of its jaws snapping together is impressive
Now this is fascinating to me. I can't remember seeing anywhere a snake being protective of its eggs. I only remember seeing snakes lay their eggs and then leave them to themselves.
Doesn't help that "reptiles being cold blooded unfeeling creatures" is such a popular misconception
I’ve only seen the moms being protective. Not all tried to bite or attack but sometimes it takes some work to untangle
If they did that, the egw wouldn't be protected or warm
Python mothers are known to be particularly possessive when it comes to their eggs.
Because jay abuses his animals, they arent protective its just scared of him
Can we just give a round of applause for the snake on the side😂✨😆
Witch one
WHICH?! 😂
I think I know which one cause there was one in specific that kept moving abunch in its cage so in any case 🙌👏🙌👏🙌👏🙌👏🙌👏🙌👏🙌👏🙌👏🙌👏🙌👏🙌👏🙌👏🙌

Jay, you always have a ton of snake eggs hatching. Where do all these hundreds of snakes go? Do they go to other homes? Do they stay with you?
In Elmo’s belly.
The Cookie Monster no longer the Cookie Monster 👹
They are in those boxes
Sell them, he has store
I was wondering whether they become food. (For snake eating animals like king cobras...)
I feel bad for the big snakes. I feel like they should
Live in like full size rooms outside so they can stretch out and slither around. They keep them in such small cages
Snakes actually prefer being in smaller places
@@rubyraedoesstuff8862 did they tell u that?
@@rubyraedoesstuff8862 Yeah, they actually like small, dark, moist places to relax.
@@rubyraedoesstuff8862 they may spend a lot of time in small spaces but they also get to move and slither and stretch out or hang whenever they want. So we as humans prefer to live in houses. So you're saying that if someone put us in a house that we could never leave from that that would be ok. And that isn't even a good metaphor because in a house we still get to move and walk around.
@@05dal snakes have huge territory. You are talking bs.
I've got severe ophidiophobia. I have no idea why these videos appear on my screen. When I read the comments saying how lovely creatures snakes are I just don't get it-no offence to snake lovers. For me they are the most disgusting and horrible creatures on earth. But I really admire the courage of the man taking care of these snakes
Same I am scared of a non poison snakes
It’s Helel/Satan attacking you. He knows all your pressure points and is trying to exploit them.
Wow how can you be so calm right next to her like that 😆
I have never seen snakey eggs like this. Looks soft and squishie. I did observe red-lipped heralds as a teen. I was 19 at the time. They can get so grumpy haha!
I held a female in my hand (without gloves) and she was still young, but to feel a snake for the first time and see how curious she was, was super cute.
When she flexed her muscles around my hand, I was aware that even at a young age, they can easily harm a human being. Incredibly strong.
I wish you would show us some of the snakes you have hatched recently. I'd really like to see them after their first shed.
She is really protective of her eggs
I agree
Well duh
my anxiety level went up high really fast 😰😰😰 I get anxious a lot especially when it's about snakes, goosebumps everywhere
Love watching you handle those huge snakes!
😅
When I didn't check the title, I thought those eggs were dough into balls merged into eachother because it was so big and didn't even notice it was you. But when I saw who it was and saw the title I was shocked
I just discovered your videos and im binge watching all of them 👍 crazy stuff i love your videos

All snake channels do this...
She's a big momma, it's not surprising her egg's are so big.
Just look at that one snake in background, it's like "what the hell is happening over there?"
Wow she's beautiful Jay! You have alot of beautiful snakes and reptiles. I love your videos!!
🤣🤣🤣🥰😇
These snakes are kept in such small cages. It's disheartening to see the way you handle them.
It's fine, in fact small spaces helps with heat regulation and it makes the snakes feel more protected. This is why snakes typically rest in confined places in the wild like in holes and under rocks.
After all the years I've been watching your channel, I've never seen you rip an egg. I can't wait to see if it closes up on its own

That is sick!!
Do they protect there eggs?
@@berthapoblacion4019 yes one of the very few that actually do , the mother will die trying to hatch the eggs if she isn’t healthy enough to make the full term , that’s why we usually wipe and clean the scent after pulling eggs, so they will start to eat again
Very interesting!
those big snakes when they bite is it poisone's?
Thank you for your information.
dont know how i ended up here but WOW. first of all that is a massive snake and a massive amount of eggs. they look so cool and super soft.

Something I would love to see on your egg cutting videos, would be to have a link in the comment with the correlating video of you picking that clutch. I just think it would be so cool to be able to see who the parents were when we see the hatchlings.
The fact that the eggs in the thumbnail looked like marshmallows-
So incredible!!!! I look forward to your video's!!!

Mother protected her babies that's understandable
As a snake gets bigger and older do the eggs it produces increase in size and quantity?
That’s a lot of eggs 🥚 😮
I guess when this snake lade those eggs you could say they hit the"MOTHER" load lol
4:10 I thought snakes didn't have ears💀
Gracious! No wonder mommy was a little grumpy when they bugged her.
I know nothing about snake and reptiles and when the video popped up in the recommended section I thought from the thumbnail he was a baker transferring the bread dough from the racks lmao
Maybe I missed it but, how old were the eggs when you separated them from the giant mama? I would guess within 3 days. I do love the videos because they're educational. The only problem I have with humans keeping snakes and other creatures is the size of the pens, tanks, cages, etc. That was a very small box she was in. I also knew a man that kept snakes and a man that kept large Lions, Panthers, and a Bear. The cages for the big animals were barely big enough for them to stand up or turn around. The snake guy had about 30 ten or twenty gallon tanks and 20 fifty gallon tanks. The living creatures don't have a life even close to what God intended them to have.
That is EXACTLY what I was just saying to my husband as we both watched this video.
I really do feel bad for these beautiful creatures...they were taken from their natural habitat, out in the wild, to live in a small box (terrarium, tank, etc) for the rest of their lives...Or in this case, they are bred, lay these clutches of eggs (their babies), only to be ripped away from their their unborn babies, then they go back into their box again, all alone with no more babies (to protect). It really does make me wonder what these reptiles truly think or feel when this happens.
However! With that being said, yes, I agree that this gentleman is doing these videos for educational purposes.
I guess I'm just too empathetic, and I just wish these beautiful creatures were never brought out of their natural environment, because let's face it - you can NEVER truly take the wild out of them, nor can you ever fully trust them, or even cuddle with them, so what's the point of having them as pets? Unless I'm missing something ?
I guess I just have a higher level of respect for these wild animals.
Don't get me wrong...I'm not bitchin' in the slightest. I understand that there is a plethora of exotic pets out there, and I, myself, have 2 exotics (I rescued 2 sugar gliders).
But anyhow, if anything, I'd like this to open the door to communication on this particular matter, and try to understand why people perpetuate this ?
Watch the videos then you will understand better why they have to be taken away. They will die and they stay with the mom for months before being taken away. If left with the mom most of them won’t survive
@@carladavison7140the thing is, they are not really loving parents they just protect the eggs so they all survive because the eggs are big thus hard to hide and as soon as the babies hatch they don't give a fuck anymore, leave and forget about it
@@carladavison7140thankfully captive bred animals don't know what they're "missing" and tend to have much longer and safer lives in captivity.
that said, i do think the tank recommendations people make are too small. i try to add 20-30 gallons to whatever the bare minimum is, add lots of enrichment/natural things in the tank, bring them outside in the sun if and when it's possible (like holding small snakes or lizards securely)
as for why people like them as pets- they're very interesting to observe, it's fun to try and recreate their natural environment, and despite their lack of affection, you build a trust and respect with the animal (i don't think that's displayed well in this video)
if it trusts you not to harm it, remembers you as the caregiver and comes to you for food etc, it is much the same as bonding with any other pet.
i do agree that it's sad that they were taken from the wild in the first place, but it wouldn't be a good thing to just release all the babies hatched indoors into the wild now, or any pets. captive bred ones are better off staying that way and same with wild ones.
This made me think of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire when he’s got to get the dragon egg during the tournament.
They be looking like some big soft dumplings-
thank you for education us all

Momma snake: "No! Go away! My babies!" *Bite*
Omg you can hear the jaw snap when she bites at him
genuine question-why can't we just put both the snake mom and the eggs into the incubator ? this way the snake mom would not have to fight anyone. are the hatching conditions and environment unsuitable for the snake mom to live in?
The reason they take the eggs is because the mom could roll the eggs then they drown or she would eat them
