This is an amazing effect, painterly yet precise. My only critique is I think keeping the golden chrome takes away from from the flames, which should be the focal point of the piece. But I understand why they were left, to keep the integrity of the original. Looks amazing though
gotta disagree... black obviously wasn't an option.... white or grey wouldn't vibe quite right... maybe something in the realm of brown? (which gold is technically)... and all contrasting colors would be straight up gauche... anyone whose tried painting fire knows how tricky it can be make it flow right, even using complimentary colors can cause so much focus to go on the flames that they better be 100% flawless. I bet if you googled "painting fire" the photos that show up would verify this. the gold bolsters the fire beautifully, IMO.... how is the fire not a focal point? @10:25
@@streamylc the chrome distracts from what should be the focal point. No Googling what fire looks like painted, just my reaction to it. My eyes feel torn, being drawn into the unique flame patterns AND the gold chrome simultaneously. A yellowy gold that isn't a chrome would've been better suited, design wise, as the effects are conflicting
Love your arts.. Im watching your videos to much right now but its getting boring a lil bit.. except your name, you should do a wise word or cartoon art, no hate im still your bigger fan..
That's an awsome idea, remixing your other pieces, you should remix more, very cool to watch
