Lisa, I want you to know how Wonderful you are. I Love your patterns, your sharing your expertise on sewing in the easiest way. I haven’t sewn for years and you have inspired me to make over 200 masks and sew for myself. Thank You so much for doing everything you do. You are a Very Special person & Inspiration for So Many people.
Thanks so much Lisa, I love these sew along. Mum and I love your sewing patterns xx
Folding sides of fabric into middle, like a gate fold card, would allow the back to be cut on the fold too. Thanks for another great video.
oh I love this idea, thanks for sharing
Thanks for this lovely video. Lace is very pretty and lifts the garment. I do love the green and pink but all of them are so pretty. I would need to have a full length back opening or, maybe a side one, so I can get it on! I am very claustrophobic and panic if pulling things over my head! My dog started barking along with yours!
To get a scallop on the sleeve, instead of cutting upside down, you can carefully trim along the scallop on the lace and then cut your sleeve along your cut edge scallop.
How wonderful that lace looks.
The top looks so pretty already. Love this idea - I have been thinking of making a lace top for a while but not really known where to start, so this is so helpful. And I have managed to snaffle some of that pretty pink lace for myself. Really intrigued by the pleating idea also. It's great to be able to do something a bit different, and being able to choose my own pleated fabric would be really cool. Thank you Lisa.
Is there no opening at the back seam ? If not could the back be cut on the fold? Thank you
Hi, I have disproportionate bingo wings (thanks mum) do you have any advice on how to the sleeves bigger without increasing the armsyce? It’s easy enough for the short sleeve option but I’m not sure how to do it for the longer sleeve versions
there is a vintage vogue pattern 9187 that is a similar looking top. can i use it with lace and an underlining. thank you for your help
How close do you cut to the point if the dart in the lace?
Did I misunderstand are you not doing the Sienna as a sew along?
😀
Hi Lisa, Eileen here x
Far too many adds, I gave up
