- Water Country U.S.A. is a water park in Williamsburg, Virginia. This park is owned by SeaWorld and located just down the road from Busch Gardens Williamsburg. This is a scenic and hilly water park, and many slides use that setting to their advantage. There is a nice variety of slides: tube slides, body slides, raft slides, and even a water coaster.

I miss the Lemon drop slides, those were fun drops into 10 feet of water. Love slides like that! Also miss Rampage, that was an awesome slide and I wish those types of slide where still around. it the slide type where you sit on a sled and go down the slide and skim across the water. So much fun! Used to be at Funtown/Splashtown, but was removed to make way for the enclosed tube slides there. That is why that pool is so big.
I wish I could have ridden Rampage.

Vanish Point is easily their most extreme slide.
Fun review! Peppermint twist was amazing, too bad it clised a while ago! It would be interesting to see how it stacked up, it was basucally like your #1 but crazy positives and a traditional start (not drop).

Solid list. I find the drop out slides on Vanish point to be a bit too disorienting because the water just pours all over your face right while you're heading into the turn. A lot of drop out slides do this but I find this one messes with me a bit too much.
I'll make an honorable mention for a defunct slide and a cool family attraction. Rampage was very cool. And Hubba Hubba Highway might just be my favoite lazy river. The faster speed and the vests let you spin around in the water on the quicker sections and it can actually be quite thrilling.
I didn't find the water coming out of the trapdoor an issue on Vanish Point. I wish I could have ridden Rampage.
I was sad to hear that they got rid of Rampage. Those types of slides give such a unique sensation, and everyone seemed to love them. Hurricane Harbor in Arlington TX got rid of theirs, and that was my favorite slide there.
I go here every summer and my favorite ride is definitely colossal curl cutback is 2nd place for me
Both are a lot of fun.

I’m surprised Vanish Point is number one. I felt that those were amongst the tamest drop slides that I’ve done. They’re still fun, but I’d easily place Cutback and Colossal Curl above them
I loved the steep drop, especially since they made me stand with my feet in the center of the capsule (most have you put them against the wall).

Malibu pipeline needs to be higher it's way better than nitro racer, big daddy falls, jet scream, and ripride race and I'd put collosal curl above cutback
