Tabie! You need rubber weather stripping around the edge of your main door to your camper! When you woke up and reached for the door I saw a good amount of light from outside around the door. Would help a lot when it’s this cold out!! You’re losing a lot of heat! Love you!

Another soothing video. I especially like the change of background music 🎶. When it's cold and you have trouble starting your little stove, try putting your hand over the lighting mechanism and warming it up for a few minutes before clicking the starter. That has always worked for me. 👍

Keep your gas canisters/lighters in the cab while you're driving to your destination. They'll be kept warm and will function when you need them upon arrival. Also, put the heating canister in your sleeping bag or under your pillow while you sleep. Your body heat will keep the gas warm enough to function when you wake up. Don't take chances with the cold, please! And always have a backup plan.
For extra canisters trying keeping them in a cooler that’s insulated. Hand warmer packs to wrap around canisters with foil then blanket/towel. Careful to watch temp so they won’t burst. Keeping one some in cab works to get you started but at some point you’ll run out and need a replacement. And yes an emergency backup plan is called for. Electric blanket with small battery power source which could be recharged by truck engine? Multiple sub-zero sleeping bags?
another simple solution is to poor a small amount of water over them, especially when they're near empty, this will also heat them up.. I used to boil water (for coffee) and I'd tip a just a splash of the warm water over the canister to keep it going..
Ohio Tabie--- here are a few camping tips for cold weather. At the Onsen take a large thermos of very hot drink water. You might pre cook some ramen or oatmeal for the next morning meals also. Onsens all provide hot clean water for tea ramen to go . Take some hot water as a head start for dinner. Cover your windshield and scrape less ice in the morning. Use the Jackery storage source to power an overnight OIL STICK TANK HEATER for the truck. It helps keep the fluids WARM for turnover in frozen morning

Es verdad, con esas temperaturas tan bajas hay que sellar de forma hermética para conservar el calor después de apagar la estufa.
También tendría wue poner una tapa corrediza al extractor de aire, por ahí debe entrar mucho frío.

初めての極寒キャンプで準備不足って感じでしたね。
窓が隠されていないと冷気が強いので注意ですし、入り口は少し隙間が有るように見受けられます。

If your heater won’t light, you need to put the gas bottle in your sleeping bag with you. Butane needs to be above 0c to work.. Stay safe 👍🏻

I do this with my water bottles as well. You also need to keep an eye on your inside truck water pipes.
