    Thanks for the video! You did one a while back that I'd love to see updated. You showed a couple of tracts you'd logged years ago with the different ages of regeneration, and also a crew replanting Arborgen seedlings on a different tract with one of those bucking bronco machine planters.

      I want to stop by the tract you’re talking about where they were planting the trees and show a video on how it looks now.

      @@cotontop3 Sounds great. I remember you talked to the crew boss on that job. Did you happen to learn if they were open-pollinated, mass-control-pollinated or varietal clones? Thinking about clear-cutting some of my timber and replanting with Arborgen. Seems like everything I can find on them is from someone trying to sell them. An independent look would be nice.

      Probably close to a million $ in equipment, just wondering what the cost is on using them? $$$$

    Thanks for the great video. Your videos give a great insight,. The amount of time and energy that it takes for a product to get from forest to store.

    I like watching you load trucks, how you t r y to get the max weight loaded on each truck. My buddy here in northern WV always says if you don't load to the max it's money that you have lost and will never get back.

    How many gallons of fuel do you all burn in a good 5 day week?

    • @cotontop3
      @cotontop3  2 года назад +2

      That number varies a good bit depending on wet or dry ground, hills or flat and then the timber also.

    Seems like the companies are doing a lot of young clear cuts not thinning. Why is that? 🤷‍♂️

      It’s still being done the same as it always has been done.
