I don’t want to be a broken record, but I gotta say it! Every time you come out with a video I just marvel at what a sweet sweet soul you are!! I also love the variety you give us! Cards and cricut and stamping and coloring, etc. it’s really helped open up my crafting pallet (I don’t know if that’s a thing but I’m calling it that!)!

Maybe cut a circle ⅛ bigger than the coaster, then place them close to each other in the center of your regular pink heat press, cover and try it that way. If it happens again then I have no clue 🤷 . But maybe 🤔 that will work 🤔 ?

Loved the floral pumpkin and the coasters most of all. But honestly, you hit it out of the park with all of your fall crafts. The hello fall sign was beautiful both ways. I am happy that you found a way to make it into some thing you felt proud and satisfied to have created and diaplay.
I started using my heat Gun on the back of the vinyl after i burnish the transfer tape on it and then is transfers like butter, no more struggle with the smart vinyl.Best hack I have come across in a long time. You should give it a try
The first pumpkin is my favorite. I like pumpkins. They are orange and happy. You just can't help but smile when you see a pumpkin. ☺️

Regarding coasters put them in your heat press with light pressure

The coasters and the patterned pumpkin were my fave! I’ve never been successfull with sublimating four coasters at the same time, I’ve always had to do 1 by 1.

I have always done 4 at a time, so I am hoping this was a random whoops. One at a time would take forever at 4 minutes each time! Ha ha, but worth it if they turn out.

Well I learned I was doing coasters the wrong way. I always put the sublimation printed side down on the coasters. The heat press on top the paper. They have always turned out. So I am sure you are right about the way they go. They still look pretty just like everything else you do. Thanks for all the great videos.
It depends on what coaster blank you use, some are face down and some are face up so you may have been doing it correctly for the blank you were using!
As far as the tray is concerned, perhaps a coat of resin or mod pudge will help keep the design down. Love your pumpkin design and all of your videos. Thank you.

I love your videos….I think I’ve watched most all of them….this one was wonderful! I’m glad to know I’m not the only one with failures. I think everything I attempted for the first several projects were all failures! I finally had success with coasters and one thing I noticed that was different was that I put the sublimation paper on top and the coasters on the bottom when I pressed them. I used a heat press so there should have been even pressure so that might be a difference too. I loved all of your projects in this video…you make it all look so easy when I know you have put in hours of work before the videos begin. Thank you! You are appreciated!

I have had to tape my designs onto the coaster to prevent ghosting. Your videos are great always get very inspired by you keep up the great work.
I would paint a thin layer of Polycrylic over your tray to keep the vinyl down and to seal it against any moisture!

Loved the floral pumpkin frame
I prefer smart glitter vinyl than regular smart vinyl. I think the regular smart vinyl is difficult to use. I really like how you changed the Fall sign. It’s you for sure.
Being a teacher, a goal I made for myself this year was to take time for me. That being said, I am reading more and have taken up card making. I do one or the other each evening. Taking care of me!

With the ceramic coasters, I have had the same problems. I started adding more pressure, and it solved the issue for me. I also use the Easy Press 9x9.
All great crafts. I especially love the patterned pumpkin in the frame.

You don’t need to choose a different vinyl for the tray, you just need to seal it. :)
Hmmm, but sealing would diminish the matte look. I’d honestly recommend something different. :)

Enjoyed this video. I was actually working on a project that wasn't working as I had envisioned it. I watched as you re-examined your sign and made changes so I did the same thing even though I really didn't want to take the time to do it and it turned out much better. I do love fall decorating! The porch signs I have made are also two sided. One is summer and Halloween and one is Thanksgiving and Christmas. I just flip them around when the season changes. :)

I love that you left in the video about the sublimation coasters as I had several issues as well, on the third attempt with mine I did the coaster individual and put strong pressure on the heat press and it worked. I had a breakfast tray for years. Couldn't decide what to do with it until I saw your tile design. It took a lot of labor of love to weed, but so happy with it Thanks to you! I put a thin coat of resin on it to protect it. You must try your resin! You won't be sorry. I love all your videos and I was crafting to your older Halloween & fall videos earlier.

Some random thoughts...I often wonder of climate affects weeding and getting vinyl to stick to transfer tape. I'm in the hot and humidity south and sometimes I think it does have an affect. Anyone else feel this way?

You come up with the cutest ideas - loved the colors in that pumpkin - it doesn’t need words, the colors tell it all - I can’t weed from a mat either - it may be old but I can’t stand that feel of sticky no matter which way you turn it around - I think the only consolation is that your weeding tool will only pick into the mat - the hello pumpkin pillow is so cute - you will never find that in a store - redo that pink coaster by itself - strange how it is transferring the ink

All these fall crafts are SO cute. I can’t choose which one I like best. This video was so inspirational. I can’t wait to start my fall crafting. I made a set of coasters with infusible ink and I had the same problem you encountered. I thought it was because I used the heat press on all four at once. I thought I would try one at a time, but since you said you have previously pressed all four at once successfully, I am not sure that will work either. Thanks for all the hard work and creativity you put into each of your videos. They are so appreciated.
Yes, I have definitely done 4 coasters at a time countless times with zero issues so I am really confused here.
It could be that pressing all 4 at one time they are not getting even pressing time & pressure. If there is a slight difference in height anywhere, that will happen.

I have the same glitter vinyl from the first craft and have also been wondering what to do with it (because I also noticed it’s transparent)! Your pumpkin sign is quite adorable. Nice job! Some people use their old mats to weed on and store the new ones as you do immediately after cutting to promote their longevity. So maybe don’t get rid of the old one so you can weed on it if it has any stick left?! Thanks for another fun video and hope the kiddos have a great year at school. I went back to prep for my students today 😊
