@@durkoandras Smartphones were never designed to record loud audio at concerts but I have seen a few videos with very good audio quality. There are also audio devices that can be connected to smartphones that some people use to improve audio as it's being recorded. If you record a lot of shows it may be worth looking into.

@@durkoandras Some people are using USB microphones from a company called Zoom. They have several different ones depending on the type of phone you have. I saw a video not long ago that sounded good and the person used a Zoom IQ7 microphone. The device has a headphone jack output that allows you to hear the sound as it's recorded. Every venue is different and some bands are louder or sound more distorted than others, so it's always an experiment to get decent sound quality regardless of what device is used.
