800021 and 800018 emergency stopping as they leave Swindon on Saturday 25th November 2023

this is an old video that I decided to upload as it is something extremely rare, this happened as there was a crack in the track in the bourton area. Which caused this train to come to an emergency stop just after it left Swindon, I kept saying “it’s not gonna last, it’s gonna fill” referring to the low amount of storage I had on my iPhone 8 at the time, the rest was recorded on my dads phone, which was the driver getting out at the back of the front iet and getting in the front of the back iet and walking through to the other cab, before leading the train back into Swindon, to walk the whole length of the platform to get to the London end again, then left roughly, if I remember rightly, around 30-40 mins late, I’m not sure it was that exact time, but I can’t remember as this was a long time ago. If I feel like it, I might post some more old videos, but until now… enjoy!
