    I can’t believe that that didn’t hold after two hours of heat. White woods almost have to be popped off jig when done! Must be a Juniper thing

      It wouldn’t take the heat I put in a Hickory bow. The wood would start to smoke. I guess what I observed was that “evergreen “ has a lower combustion point than other “white” woods.

      @@hunterarcher11 they have a high resin content which would account for it but heat is heat you would think for straightening
