Thanks for the kind comment, glad you enjoyed the video, and hope you get onto that Princess cruise! We really liked our first cruise with them, and we're going again later this year. Fingers crossed we enjoy that cruise as much!
One of the best reviews I have seen, we sailed on this ship a few weeks ago which was our first ever cruise and after watching this we realised there were some places we hadn’t seen so when we go again in March we will look for them, so thanks for your video which was not dramatic or over egged like many others I have watched.
We have been on Princess 4 times and Sky twice. Absolutely love it. We have 3 more booked over the next 2 years on Sky. The medallion and app are brilliant and we get the Plus package as it includes gratuities, WiFi and free room service. Well worth it. What I really like about Princess is when booking they actually tell you and allow you to include the drinks packages all up front
100% agree, we're booked back on Sky next year and really looking forward to it (with Plus package of course). Only worry is how the Premier package unlimited speciality dining will affect booking dining onboard, we decided to book all of ours early, which does mean you can't use onboard credit for it. And the app is by far the best we've seen.
@@richandsuzcruise We have no onboard credit so does not come into play. Will however try the 2 casual dining and desert as have not done before. Thanks to you informative video.
Thanks both for your thorough and informative video. Nice to see an up-to-date set of information about the casual dining options, where to go for premium hot drinks, and how they're included in the plus package. I've got my first Princess cruise in October, so it's nice to go in prepared as to where I can go for all the included options with the Plus Package.
I appreciate how straight-to-the-point and thorough the video is, and how it covers effectively ALL the little details that some other cruise RUclipsrs miss with their more grandiose style (which is nice and I also have time for them) sometimes miss. The one thing to ask regarding the room tour is which plug sockets are used - as I've read that there's a mix of European and American ports, but not sure which adaptors I (as a Brit) should be bringing with me. Again, thanks a lot for your review!
Thank you for your kind comments. We're really glad you enjoyed the review and found it useful. We did do a full room tour separately, so only glossed over the main details in the review video to try and keep the time down. There are USB sockets in the bedside lights, 2 euro and 2 US sockets over the desk (in our balcony cabin at least). We had heard on a cabin tour video that a UK adapter is supplied in the cabin, but there wasn't one in ours. Hope this is helpful, and we hope you have a wonderful cruise in October, we really loved our time on the Sky Princess!
@@richandsuzcruise My apologies! I just saw you posted the room tour a few months ago! Thank you for that. I'm sure that video will be ESPECIALLY helpful to me, since I've got the cabin super similar to yours, Obstructed Balcony Emerald 514 😁 Easily subscribed, love your content!
Hi there, thanks for the kind comment, and yes, there were a few folk in wheelchairs getting assistance from the port staff with boarding. Also a reasonable amount of mobility scooters and wheelchairs around the ship. But I believe contacting the cruise company prior to the cruise is recommended so they can arrange assistance.
Thank you. Mostly waiters will still come round and take orders, which was probably the most common way. If we were in a hurry for a drink we'd order at the bar. If we were ordering a refill or a drink to the cabin we'd use the app, as it could be a bit slow. We hope you enjoy your cruise, Sky is a beautiful ship.
Sorry for slow replies, we're just back off a 2 week cruise, and didn't bother with the internet package. Yes, saw the cabana prices, are quite high. Just a lounger in there though is pretty reasonable cost.
I’m speaking from experience. My first ocean liner cruise was 1960. Los Angeles to Sydney. These ships today are big bird cages! Why in the world would anyone take a cruise on one of these impersonal ships. The reason to take a cruise is to get way from these rowdy People to start with. Loud obnoxious pushy people.
We try to film when its not too busy, so the ship will look kind of empty. And to be honest, a lot of what we do onboard is eating and drinking, yes. Sitting around reading, or sitting on deck watching the shipping etc doesn't make for good video either, so you wont see too much of that, altho we do both :)
Nicely done, very informative. Thank You.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed
Great informational video. I haven't cruised on Princess but would like to them a try in 2025.
Thanks for the kind comment, glad you enjoyed the video, and hope you get onto that Princess cruise! We really liked our first cruise with them, and we're going again later this year. Fingers crossed we enjoy that cruise as much!
Loved our mini sweet and loved our Princess Medalion
Medallion was nice, and good to hear, we're in a mini suite when we go this year!
A wonderful and informative tour. We are sailing on Sky Princess in 10 days, and after watching this I can’t wait ☺️
Thanks for the kind comment. We hope you have a fantastic cruise!
Very clear and informative vlog - really enjoyed.x

❤ the fitness center is on deck 17 rear.
You are correct! I guess I was talking for too long with too many deck numbers. Thanks for pointing that out, I'll post a note in the video comments.
Really informative thanks. Did you notice if any disabled travellers were on board. If yes did they get assistance embarking onto the ship ? Thanks

Food in Speciality dinning were our savior
At least there are a few good options for that onboard
Loved these vlogs as we're about to try sky on our first cruise. When at a bar did you order through the app or just go up to the bar? 👍

Enjoyed this.
We are going on our first cruise in November on Sky Princess.
Glad you enjoyed. And we hope you enjoy your cruise on Sky Princess as much as we did ours!
Well done, thank you
Thanks!
We were just on Sky Princess week before Christmas 2024
Buffet food was horrid.
That's a shame, it was pretty good overall on our cruise, although we didn't eat there too many times.
Did you get a chance to film Jim Henson’s inspired silliness?
Sorry, I don't recall seeing anything Jim Henson during our cruise at least.
When did you travel it looks empty?
April into May. We try to film when its not busy so not too many people in shot, the ship was pretty full I believe.
Paid sanctuary cabana was not worth $220. However staff there were awsome. Entertainment was so so not great by any means

Cielo main dining room horrid, cold not etable.
Shame to hear that. And I hope it improves again as we're back on Sky this year!

Where are all of the people? Looks like all you do is eat and drink!
