i don’t know if you’ve ever read large print books before, but i HAVE to read only large print due a rare eye condition that has me practically blind, but i wanted to mention that it’s been shown that large print format books increases reading comprehension, reading speed, etc, even in readers who do not have vision problems. you may find that once you go large print format, you won’t go back!
Oh wow, I’ve never heard that. I like reading large print, but I read most of my books from the library, and I’m hesitant to take a LP copy of a book unless it’s the only one available. I don’t want to take it away from people who can only read those ones.
You finally read Shiver!! 😍 I'm not sure what to do with myself anymore. 😂 I'm just so happy you enjoyed it, after I've been recommending it to you for the last two years 😅 lol I tease but, I've just never read a book that screamed "this is a Gabby book!" as much as Shiver did when I first read it. Thank you for the entertaining vlog, as always! 💙
I think “What Happened to Nina” is more a slow burn mystery than a thriller. I thought it was really well-written and one of my favorite books of the year so far!
Hi Gabby, I just watched your previous video, and seeing you like The Memory Police, I would recommend you read Malice or The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino. He is one of the best Japanese authors in murder mysteries!
I am loving this season of Big Brother! I can't believe that they have used the POV every time so far (has it been every time or almost every time?}. I also can't believe that Angela is still there. I personally hated it when Tucker got voted out. He was so much fun to watch. At first, I didn't know if I would love the A.I. theme, but I really am liking it.
Yes! How to Solve Your Own Murder has SO many characters. Every new page had some new person to keep track of and figure out how they fit in the past and present. I absolutely could not read it slowly. Had to keep plugging through it because if I missed too much time, I’d forget who everyone was.
So glad you read Shiver and liked it. I felt the same about the end but overall a good one. I enjoy your reading vlogs and getting to see the area you live in.
lol i watch selling sunset now because of my wife. it was totally one of those shows i rolled my eyes at when she would put it on but then i got sucked IN after like season 5 hah.
That's always my problem with classic murder mysteries is the amount of characters. I know its to make it difficult to figure out who the killer is, but i have such a poor memory!
Just came to suggest adding a little milk of some sort to your eggs to make them better and they do get a weird flavor if you cook them too long. There’s tons of recipes on Pinterest!! Thanks for the video as always 💜✌🏻
Great vlog once again! I dnf'd How to solve your own murder very early on when I tried it a few months ago. My breaking point was when Annie sent an unedited version of her first novel to publishing houses because she's just so fun and quirky 🙄😡 I just can't read about characters who are that stupid 😂
What happened to Nina is definitely NOT worth finishing. I pushed through it and it was painful. You made the right call!!! Stick with your gut, gabby ❤❤
I know you didn't like Kulti but the FMC, Sal, being a professional soccer player is one of the reasons it is one of my favorite contemporary romance books. It is so hard to find books with successful female athletes.
I really enjoyed Ellie Black but when I read, I want to disconnect from reality! I'm ok with far fetched except for The Perfect Marriage and how he had no blood on him at all!!!! 😂
I can't wait for you to read We Used To Live Here. It was so absolutely frustrating, I have so many beefs with the book, I want your opinion. If there is not a second book, then I am giving it a low review. I have never been so angry with a book before.
I always get mad at books endings 😅 I feel I should stop reading, but I don't 😂all this time reading, just for them to end?! What?! 😠😩 Lol I heard that book was SOOOOO good 🤔 i myself am having second thoughts in reading it
I dnfed The Return of Ellie Black, I found the writing extremely cheesy and on the nose with social commentary. Like the author was trying to be smart but ended up overexplaining the message she was trying to get across.
I feel like people should have to explain why they think YOU will like their recommendation in order to be featured in the video, not just make random recommendations of books that THEY like.
@@WishAtElevenEleven What makes you think that people are recommending books that they like? A reason for this could be those people have the same or similar reading taste as Gabby so they think that whatever book they like Gabby would enjoy it as well
@@inter_estingthe reason I think people are just recommending things that THEY like is because they recommended a detective novel and a cozy mystery, which are bad recommendations for Gabby.

My library has a section for large print copies of books but I find it is really restricted compared to all the other books

Heeeeyy Gabbyyyy I recently watched Knives Out it's great! Happy reading for Spooky Season!!!
So goad you liked Shiver! Her second novel, The Swell is all about surfing and reminded a little of Reckless Girls but better
I usually don't like detective povs either but The Return of Ellie Black now sounds so intriguing to me!
Definitely going to order Shiver now, thanks Gabby! I enjoyed your vlog!
