Kinderhotels are Amazing! 🇦🇹 Our Vacation to Galtür, Austria + the Tyrolean Alps | Österreich

- We had an amazing vacation at a Kinderhotel in Galtür, Austria! We felt like we got a vacation, too. Kinderhotels serve three meals a day, PLUS Kaffee und Kuchen! So we didn't have to shop for food, cook or clean for a whole week! Yahooo! They also have childcare for up to age 10, so Kevin and I were able to get away and go on several hikes and walks and explore the area. We took the kids Bouldering for the first time at the top of Ballunspitze, which is right in Galtür. If you have kids, Kinderhotels are amazing and have many locations in Europe - Austria, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, and more!

//Unser Familien Urlaub in Galtür, Österreich//
We can highly recommend Alpenresidenz Ballunspitze. The staff were all so warm and friendly and took amazing care of us. Service during the meals is top-notch, and the staff in Bärenland were amazing with the kids!

What I liked best is when you said "in our hometown".
Your roots have grown quite deep already, which is a lovely fact to notice.
Yes! When I was editing the video I realize we had said that as well. And how Austria felt “familiar” and felt like “home!” I realized that hearing German now feels a lot more comfortable than it used to.
@@MyMerryMessyGermanLife It won't be long until you tell somebody "can you say this in German, please?" ... When that day came, have a beer on me!
@@MyMerryMessyGermanLife here's another hiking / biking idea: youtu. be/9mi55VVrZx0
@@furzkram okay, it’s on! 🍻🍻
We in Bavaria, in particular, differentiate between "daheim" and "zu Hause". "Zu Hause" is were you stay without big emotional relationships, "daheim" is were you got the emotional experience (after journey ect) "now I'm finally at my home". It's very important to your integration (and that of your children, too) to Bavaria to get this emotional relatisionto the place and town you live. - Cheers, Heinz
p.s. In the past I've moved my "daheim" from Bavaria to Berlin, now already back.
ich als berliner kann nur sagen ich liebe unseren österreichischen nachbarn. immer super nette leute und natürlich das essen und trinken. achso die natur vergessen😂🤪🙏🏼🍺
"There are so many crying kids, and no one cares" Haha, that is great.
🤣🤣 I began to wonder if the kids weren’t enjoying the vacation 🤪☺️
Aww, clearly you guys had the best time! You sound even more energetic and upbeat than normal but in a relaxed way! Happy kids make for happy parents. 😊
That’s so true! We were happy and relaxed.
Oh, a Bälle-Bad! My daughter would love it (She is 29 years old)
🤣🤣🤣
Bällebad geht in jedem Alter!
Exactly
Enk is an old dative case in the dual, a number which existed beside singular and plural. Originally expressing the twoness, its nowadays replaces the plural in some parts of Bavaria and Austria. The corresponding genitive is enka. In some regions one may also hear the nominative and accusative ‚ees’ (difficultly to pronounce for english speakers, since it is not the same as double e in english but a long german e). It replaces the ihr, however is less often used.
As an Austrian it makes me happy, that you enjoy your stay here :)
You have a beautiful country!
@@MyMerryMessyGermanLife Thank you :-)
As an Austrian I'll second that. 🇦🇹🎈🌍
Willkommen back in Österreich!
Ein tolles Video, von einer tollen Familie aus einem tollen Urlaub! Macht bitte genau so weiter! Viele liebe Grüße aus dem hohen Norden, direkt an der Grenze nach Dänemark!
Vielen dank! 😍❤️
I join you😄 being nordish by nature myself👍
Now this is a REAL family vacation, where everyone can have fun and relax, with minimal worries. I had no idea about those awesome Kinderhotels, even though I used to live in southwest Germany as a teen. This is brilliant! And I also learned about the Austro-Bavarian dialect a few years when travelling Wien-Salzburg-München - fascinating. Thanks for sharing!
wow ... gorgeous ... more than anything, your enthusiasm is infectious. Also, love how you embrace our cultures wholeheartedly.
As someone who is married to an American and lived 16y in the USA it warms my heart to see Americans love and appreciate living in Germany so much and experiencing to the fullest everything Europe has to offer! Thank You!
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much. And so cool you lived in the USA for 16 years!
Ihr seid so eine schöne Familie!Alles Gute für euch und eure schönen Ausflüge
It is always such a pleasure to watch your videos! You are so genuinely excited and happy to explore and make new memories and experiences. It is obvious that you really do love all of your little adventures and ... the Aperol Spritz 😉😂
It is a rare treat to see somebody from a different culture being so open to everything new. Instead of judgements on the differences there is just the acknowledgment that it is different. And don't worry, not every German is comfortable with being naked in the Sauna either, I think we just "accept" that that is what it is and despite the obvious nakedness we try to be as respectful as possible. Meaning: no staring, wandering eyes and making somebody else uncomfortable.
I wish for you to always have only positive experiences and have as much fun as possible. You are a very special family ... plus cat 😉
Thank you so much! Love your comments. And yes to more Aperol Spritz 🍹🍹
Tyrolean Hotels are the greatest places to go with kids during the Summer. When I was young my parents always took me to the "Sporthotel Stock", and the "Alpenresort Schwarz". Some of my favourite childhood Holiday memories.
Oh so cool and I love that those were some of your favorite childhood memories.
So many parts of Austria just look incredible :)
Right? Hard to get a bad video or picture of the Austrian Alps!
Oh, what a great concept! I'll have to tell my brother about this. My niece is 1.5 and this would be perfect when she's a bit older.
Yes there were many parents of young children there. Many toddlers.
What a great way to spend your vacation, the kids will make fantastic memorys for life.
Though no Kinderhotel for us( our children are all older), we leave for Austria in just a few days. I’m glad you were all able to enjoy a wonderful vacation with something for everyone!
Oh fun! I hope you also have a wonderful time!
Surly this is one of your most enjoyable broadcasts from you I watched. From The McFall family bumper car rally to adult shyness during your first German/Austrian sauna visit. I truly enjoyed ever minute watching this. Not to forget the wonderful scenery you shared with us thanks also to your superb photography skills. Your broadcasts have become my window to my German/Austrian heritage. Greetings from Banff Canada, Klaus
Oh wow! You live in Banff! It is spectacular there. I would think it might be hard to miss Germany while living there. But thank you so much for your kind comments and watching our videos!
When you asked your son at 24:12 in the video is this fun and he said ya and then you asked Kevin the same question and his like Ooo yea. I think Kevin is having way more fun then the children. Soo cute😄
Hahaha yes! Kevin knows how to have fun, and he has the most fun when he’s outside playing in nature!
@@MyMerryMessyGermanLife Nature watch out. Imagine it with the music from the movie Jaws and then instead of showing a shark it will show Kevin😀
Oh, my beloved Alps... 🥰
My parents took me and my sisters there often when we were children, and part of my heart has always stayed there. They feel like a second home to me, so comforting and dear.
I'm sure it'll be the same for your kids when they grow up! 🧡 They look so happy to be there!
Yes there is just nothing like the Alps!
Two of them liked playing video games and air hockey all day in the youth club... 😜
There is a part of Italy where you don't need to speak Italian as the main language is German. The Tyrol (Bozen, Meran area). It has beautiful scenery (incl. the Dolomite mountain range) and friendly people. It's probably just a few hours in the car from where you live. The food also has a good reputation, and they would probably make you a pizza if you ask nicely ;-).
We were just talking about how we’d like to do a trip to the Dolomites, and I didn’t realize we could speak German there.
@@MyMerryMessyGermanLife As a South Tyrolian I can assure you, you can. Especially in the valleys you will have more trouble finding someone who speaks fluent Italian than someone who speaks German. We also have some family hotels here, the most famous belonging to the Falkensteiner Group. And you will find a Pizzeria in every town :)
@@MyMerryMessyGermanLife If you don't know, what to do in the winter time in the alps as a family. Italy has best Rodelbahn(en) (to name the best: Ratschings, Sexten (it's a town; nothing to do with s*x), and RudiRun). You can rent a Rodel (toboggan/sled) at every Rodelbahn. To give you an idea, how much fun to rodel there, here is a video (you have not drive as fast as we do. Just use your feets to slow down and brake.):

@@MyMerryMessyGermanLife That's because Südtirol belonged to Austria until 1920. In the wane of WW1 it became part of Italy.
@@MyMerryMessyGermanLife it’s beautiful! Been spending all of my vacations when I was younger there, In a small village called sulden, 10/10 would recommend! I don’t know if they have a Kinderhotel tho. But nonetheless it’s beautiful, the people are very, very friendly and speak German as their first language ☺️
First family vacation we ever had was also a kinderhotel in Austria. Best thing we ever did! But our kids are forever spoiled we never can go to a different hotel😂😂😂
Oh yes!! I can totally see that happening! It spoiled us all!
Beschreibung in Deutsch!! Bravo.
Danke für das tolle Video. Super Musik und Schnitt.
Freue mich auf die Eindrücke von der Mosel.
Vielen dank! So glad you noticed!! German subtitles, too!
Wow, what a gorgeous recommendation for the Alps and KinderHotels - can’t get much more stunning or convenient.
We can highly recommend it all! It was one of our most favorite vacations we’ve ever taken!
Great to see you so happy!
Hope you're doing great back home, it's definitely a lot colder right now than it usually is in August. Let's hope for warmer weather in September!
Yes wow, we’ve had such a cool summer! We don’t mind, though. It’s a nice break from the Georgia heat.
I'm glad you had such a great time. So heartwarming to watch your enthusiasm.
Thank you! 💕
I am 73 and raised in the countryside of Traunstein, the region you live now. In that time we didn't say "griaß eich" but "griaß eng". The only difference in pronunciation is "g", because it is ending with a soft sound like in sing, wheareas in Tirol its hard like in check.
Oh! So good to know!
73 and having the most typical Bavarian name! ;))
Thank you for allowing me to travel vicariously with you. I would love to visit Germany and Austria some day. What an amazing hotel for young families!
Oh, Galtür! It’s long time ago I’ve been there, exactly it was easter 1972, with my wife and our three children we were skiing there. The chair lift was just new opened and Galtür began a career as a wintersport resort. In the afternoon when we came back we took cafe and kaiserschnmarrn at Ballunspitze hotel, exactly in the edge chamber. At that time the hotel was small but cosy. That’s now almost fifty years ago but the good memories are still there! It’s amazing to see how the hotel has developed and happily survived the big avalache katastrophe jears ago.
I guess it was destiny for us to go... I was born in 1972!
Oh wow! You stayed in the same hotel?
No, we stayed at Ischgl but came up to Galtür to experience the good slopes there. We had a real bright day with sun and super snow, my children mastered the runs excelently. But suddenly the weather changed and a snow storm turned all to a white hell. So we found a shelter in the Ballunspitze, with hot drinks and apfelstudel. This happening was so impressing I keep it in my memories. Happy end - the storm went by and we could return to our quarter at Ischgl.
By the way - you have settled down near the alps, next winter is coming, this is the opportunty to get into wintersports! With your children you will have fun for lifetime - as I had it with mine! Hochfelln is waiting, just 15 minutes away from your home!
By the way, my children were 14, 9 and 8 at that time...
Amazing view from the peak at the end and iam happy you enjoy your holiday there
Sweet pink mountain shoes for
Mami...😂😁
Such a nice vacation! I really enjoyed the views! They were amazing. I do agree with you - the sea is great, too, but the mountains are better!
Funny thing is - we as residents of a mountaineous area went the opposite way this year and enjoyed some really nice days of vacation in Brandenburg, where it's flat and there are no people!
Wunderbar! Eure Videos werden immer professioneller! Freut mich, dass ihr sooo viel Spaß hattet!
Vielen dank, Beatrix!! 💕❤️
Oh how I miss German EIS!!! Loved it as a child. 💕🙌🏼
Ice cream is sooo good here!
Oh, that's great. Not only have I been to Galtür before, I even stayed in the same hotel. Well, it wasn't a Kinderhotel at that time but we had a perfect skiing trip and the food in the hotel was over the top...
Oh that’s interesting to know that it didn’t used to be a Kinderhotel. So glad you’ve got yo enjoy Galtür also. Isn’t it amazing?!
@@MyMerryMessyGermanLife Well yes those views are great, but how about winter time? Galtür will turn into a complete white wonderland.
Kevin has a sweet "Frozen" Trolley :)
This is a great video😀 Beautiful area and everyone is so happy!
Oh, that shot when the first rays of sun touched the mountain peak was so beautiful... 🌄❤️ There is just something amazing about experiencing something in the early daylight, when everything and everyone is still asleep. I am so happy you and your kids enjoyed your vacation so much! Man hat gesehen wieviel Spaß ihr hattet.
Ah yes, Kevin got to experience an amazing hike in the early morning light!
The Alps are gorgeous. We've had many a wonderful adventure there. Funny enough even if you crossed into the Italian part of Tirol you could still speak German with the people. It's one of those neat border regions you find in Europe where the cultures and many times the languages cross over the set borders.
So cool! I’d forgotten about that.
@@MyMerryMessyGermanLife Some 62% of the residents in Südtirol / South Tyrol speak German, an Austro-Bavarian dialect in the spoken form: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Tyrol
So no "culture shock" in that part of Italy ;-) And yes, there's "Kinderhotels", too!
South Tyrol was part of Austria until the end of WW1 in 1918.
This video came just right to bring me down to earth after a stressful day. Thank you
We are happy it helped you, and we hope you have a better day. 💕
We like the Mountains better...Now that is something I can sign on right away!Just one week to go and we are off to Austria and South Tyrol in Italy for two weeks of hiking, wine and the good life;)
Fantastic video once again, glad you had an enjoyable week off.We introduced my sister from the US to Aperol Spritz two years ago....we had to bring bottles of Aperol back to Colorado afterwards
Oh btw...Kevin's suitcase is just sweet!
Oh schön! We hope you also have a wonderful vacation!!
You two look so fresh and relaxed.. :-)
mir gefällt jedesmal Eure Begeisterung .
Familien wie Euch,

Vielen dank, Wolfgang!
Although that i am nearly the same age than Kevin, maybe even two or three years older, by watching your videos i feel travelling back to my happy childhood and to the vacations with my long gone parents. Thank you for bringing back those memories. Your videos are wonderful, as i said in comments before and i am looking forward to every new video of you.
Thank you so much! We are glad we can remind you of happy childhood memories.
Good vibes! I am glad you like the alps! I adore them! It is paradise.
It really is paradise!
Fantastic for your kids to speak German with the other kids there and improve their language skills through this!
Yes! They got great oraxtice there, also speaking with the helpers in Bärenland.
I love your videos. ❤❤❤❤
Just a little piece of information...right at the Gipfelkreuz you will usually find a metal box with the Gipfelbuch or peak book. You can leave a note of your trip, maybe date and names or anything you would like to keep for posterity
love to hear you enjoyed the view, its just the best feeling when other people talk about how they enjoy the alps! ive lived here almost 30yrs and still enjoying the hikes and views.
Gah we will never tire of the Alps!
It's great to see you all having so much fun. You are apparently enjoying every minute of your vacation. That's the way it should be.
Thank you, Indira! Yes we really enjoyed this vacation.
And another beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. One could tell all of your family enjoyed it a lot. When my kids were young we stayed in Austria (in Kärnten) in a Kinderhotel and enjoyed it as much. Have a great time at the Mosel now.
Oh so cool you also spent time at a Kinderhotel in Austria!
Another epic video! Thanks for making the great content. As an American wanting to move to Germany one day :)
I hope you’re able to, Bruce!
Come join us!
The Kinderfreie hotels are amazing too ;)
Oh cool, what are those?
Hotels specifically for adults. No kids allowed. For people who like peace and quiet.
Going through rough times I really needed some good vibes. Thanks for that!
We send you our support and are sorry to hear you’re going through a tough time. 💕
you can also visit southern Tyrol. It belongs to Italy but the 1st language there is German and most of it is like Austria / Bavaria. but the food has a more Mediterranean touch to it. In (a regular) summer Austria usually is to hot for hiking but is known for swimming vacation at its many lakes e.g. Millstätter See.
We have heard so many good things about Süd Tyrol. Definitely want to get there soon!
Ja, Südtirol ist wunderschön, Aber 4 Kinder im Sommer über den Brenner, Fast immer Stau, Ich glaube keine gute Idee
Vielen Dank für die einmaligen, die spektaktulären Bilder!!!!
Great video! I really love the mountains, too. Looks like you had a fantastic vacation!
It seems that you had the best time which is so wonderful to see! What a beautiful video and the area you stayed at is just stunning.
Thank you, Kirsten! 💕
Awesome video! Thank you for sharing! Nature is so beautiful! I love watching your adventures! I have three brothers and am the only girl in the family. As a kid our parents would take us to the alps and those memories are still amazing!
So cool you’ve also got 3 brothers!
We went to a kinderhotel in Bayern right before the pandemic in February 2020. It was one of the best vacations ever! I recommend kinderhotels and familienhotels to every parent in Europe who wants a mountain vacation LOL I have one in Sud Tyrol, Italy, on my wish list now
Oh yes! That one’s on our list to go to next, too! Kinderhotels are really awesome.
Great video! It looks like perfect holidays for all of you :-) I'm looking forward to seeing your winter videos! Maybe you will try out skiing this winter? This is also amazing, if you are on top of a mountain surrounded by pure and white snow - I love this! Thanks for sharing your experiences with us :-)
Danke, Tina! Oh yes we hope to be on top of snowy mountains this winter. However, I don’t know if we will take a trip because we have small ski resorts right near our home.
Ich liebe die Alpen, da ist die Welt noch in Ordnung. Wie wäre es mal mit paragliding bis ins Tal? 🪂😅
Beautiful … just mind-blowing! Habt noch einen schönen Urlaub!
Ja es war toll!!!
It really stands out to me that even you guys (the parents) apperently have smth. like a Kindergarten for yourself. Your grins are revealing. Thanks for having the pleasure to follow you! Stay safe.
Looks like you had a fantastic holiday !!
Where i grew up, in the area of the bavarian national forest, we also had a "Family hotel" in town. Back in the day it was just one or two buildings. a farmhouse and a remodelled barn. Now it is a big area, multiple buildings, pool, wellness, pool, playgrounds and so on.
If you ever decide to visit the bavarian national forest with its mountains (Lusen and Arber) and wild animal enclosures for Wolves, Bears, European Bison, Lynx, Eurasian eagle owl or Uhu as it is called in germany (+ many more), this might be a nice weekend stay to explore the area.
little dialect information.
In the lower bavarian region where i grew up we also said more of a "Griaß eich" /Griaß enk than a "grüß euch"
We have been to that exact hotel as well and our kids (and us) loved it!
Amazing footage as always. And for me... Don't mind me, I'm just feeding the Algorythm.
You’re the best! 💕
Bet that air is crisp.
I am always sitting through the beautiful intros, and almost religiously waiting for the "We are an American family with four kids.... and a cat." I am always ready to synchronize with the "...and a cat" part.
I love your positivity. Please, while you can get germanized in many areas, please, please, please, never loose that positivity. We need that so much here. 😍😍😍
So nice to hear that you've already integrated so much with your neighbors that you let them watch the cat. Great to hear.
Ella's eyes and smiles in the short clip from 4:43 on were so happy and filled with unfettered joy. That exuberance is so wholesome.
The Bärenland excursion, just amazing. That painted a wide smile on my face as well.
The Sauna and nudity aspect.
A) We were born that way, so no reason to be ashamed. Especially in a room that is designed to make us sweat like crazy. In any other situtation in the USA you'd shed as much clothing in such temperatures as possible, but in the Sauna you have to wear clothing that has a high possibility of melting or shrinking in that heat? How much more ridiculous can you get?
B) Body positivity: When do you get the chance to see other nude bodies in reality, non-photoshopped, non-stylized, except for the Sauna or nude beaches?
Rarely if ever.
But in the Sauna you get to see all the aspects, the tall, short, big, slim, flabby, skinny, wobbly, trim, all the flaws and beauty. Until you realize, absolutely no-one is perfect. And that helps so much, for so many people to come to terms with their own flaws, to realize, that even despite these flaws, we are all beautiful in our own way.
No reason to be ashamed of the flaws when everybody has them, and everybody can see them.
If you can, bring your kids with you into the Sauna, and get them to realize nudity is completely ok. I know, I know, it is quite a lot to ask of Americans, to bring kids to a Sauna. Just try to consider it, if it is possible in this Kinderhotel.
Tell them that the Sauna is a room of relaxation and quiet, yet that if they feel as if they can't take the heat any more, that they can leave at any time.
People of all ages are allowed to be nude in the Sauna, and nothing is shameful about our bodies.
For me personally, we had a tiny Sauna at home, so I started going to the Sauna at the tender age of four. While I stayed only for three or four minutes in the begining, I soon grew accustomed to five to eight minutes. The health benefits are incredible, the relaxation it brings dito.
Haha, in the last minute I got an ad from the Forsthofgut Hotel in Austria, a nature hotel. Google algorythm, you are spying much too close on what I watch. 😁
So glad you enjoyed the happy clips of Ella! I'm so glad we have her joy on camera to remember forever. And I just LOVE your comments on body positivity. I so agree - seeing other people's bodies and realizing no one is perfect can help us to accept our own bodies better.
Very nice video, lucky you had a "Traumwetter" ...
It's always fun to watch your experiences. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching, Dolores!
If you really love the alps so much, then don‘t forget to visit Austria again during the winter season! If you aren‘t already into skiing, you definitely have to learn it! Unfortunately less and less kids learn to ski nowadays, mainly because it has become so expensive. But still most schools in Austria take the kids for one week of skiing in the winter.
Yes!! We actually have skiing trails and a ski school only 10 minutes from our home. So we plan to put our kids in ski school this winter.
not expensive compared to the US. some US families even save money flying over to Europe to do their skiing holidays.
It is very popular for german familys to make "Ferien auf dem Bauernhof". Thats what we often do with our three kids. We always meet other familys there and a lot of farms have interesting programs for kids, which often are related to animals, fruits, vegetable, adventures in nature etc.. Our kids love it!
An other possibility that is interesting in germany (and other european countries) are "Jugendherbergen", which offer interesting holiday-programms specialized on parents with kids. We did one where parents and kids learned woodworking and building little furniture together as a family-project. Our kids are so proud of what they have made with there own hands!
And what a lot of kids do in summer is visiting "Ferienlager". This is something for kids who are a liitle bit older (normaly starting at the age of 12). In most cases "Ferienlager" are tent camps somewhere in europe, where the kids meet other kids from all over europe. "Ferienlager" are often organized by church-organisations. Ferienlager means: There are no parents with the kids (only persons in support) , the kids have to manage it alone (you know: Selbständigkeit). Unfortunately in covid-times there are no "Ferienlager", but maybe in the future it is an option again.
So cool! Thanks for letting us know about all of these options! Our kids would love a Ferien auf dem Baurenhof!!
Beautiful video and I'm happy you grown-ups could enjoy your freetime! 👍😁
And funny thing with saunas, isn't it? You feel totally naked as the only one not being naked within a bunch of folks sitting in a sauna...! 😂😂
I seem to have developed a weird attention to hair. First I thought "Wow, Kevin's hair under that cap looks really short" and then later I thought "Wow, one of the boys seems to have taken this as inspiration, his hair is ultra-short as well". Still happy to see that your kids enjoy nature, that always warms my heart.
Yes he accidentally got his hair cut super short and he doesn’t like it that way!
You guys are looking sooo good! It's really nice to see you so relaxed and giggly...:-))
Hahaha thank you!
Aaaawwww! This is awesome! Now I know what we are going to do when I finally come to have my well deserved holidays next week. I hope they still have rooms available.
Holding my thumbs for you!

Schön, dass es Ihnen gefallen hat! 💚
Ihr solltet im Winter wiederkommen und Skifahren gehen! Macht super Spaß!
You should come back in winter and go skiing! I'm sure you're kids will love it!
YES!! We would love to! But it's funny because we have ski resorts right here where we live. So it's hard for us to spend a lot of money to go elsewhere.
That's nice. I have eaten at the hotel Ballunspitze several times. I have stayed opposite in the Hotel Luggi, where the motorcyclists get off ;-) Beautiful area and good food in the Ballunspitze
Oh cool! It’s an amazing location!

Many hotels in Germany and Austria have special offers for families. For kids and teens. For example look at Sonnenalp resort in Ofterschwang im Allgäu or Alpenresort Schwarz in Austria … it’s not a low budget vacation, but kids and parents are loving it.

@@MyMerryMessyGermanLife very well done and very well commented! Love his genuine joy and enjoyment for the mountains and curiosity for the culture of other countries! So many just complain about the lack of an AC or ice cubes in beverages;):)

Nice moring climb. You could also make a Berghutte tour. Climb up to a Berghutte, overnight walk to the next Berghutte and come back down. Not for the very small, but you get to see even more and staying up high makes it more relaxed. Do enquire for reservations and necessities for the overnight. They have food and drinks, but you may have to sleep in Lager.
HUGE RESPECT to Kevin that he climbed this mountain which seems to be really high compared to the valley where the hotel is located. That must have been quite dangerous, too! ;-)

happy to hear that you had such a great time - I`m from here (from the Montafon to be specific) and you need to come to visit THE MONTAFON ;-) In winter it is a very famous and super super nice skiing area to stay. I sometimes do a vacation in Lech or Schruns even if I am from here.. haha ;-) best wishes
Okay! Thank you for the suggestion!
I discovered your channel a few days ago and have been enjoying your videos since then. The hotel looks amazing and reminds me a lot of the trips I did with my family when I was about the same age your kids are right now. They will have great memories about this time together. Enjoying your stay.
I am from the south of Germany and as you recognized right, the culture in Austria and south Germany (Baden-Württembergund Bayern) is really alike. As far as culture and mentality they are way close together as north and south germany.
I love the region here in the south a you found the best place to live. I am looking forward to new videos of you and hope you will have many more exciting adventures.
Thank you so much for commenting and following along! 💕
Looks like you had a great time! Tirol is always nice although it has become a bit overly touristic over time. My favourite part here is still the Salzkammergut, it is simply gorgeous (and warmer! :D) Not sure if there are Kinderhotels there, but I always have a great time in that area.
Yeah thankfully, Galtür wasn't too touristy.
Looks beautiful! Idealic 💜
Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧
Ah cool! The UK! We have been to Scotland a few times and London but look forward to seeing a lot more of your beautiful part of the world!
Very nice family.. Have a great trip and live in Europe
Thank you!
I went there with my family, too. Such a beautiful area. You can go to Kappl and Ischl, too. Galtür is near the border to Switzerland, and there is a Nationalpark you can visit. You are right, when you say, it feels like Bavaria. The Bavarian or South German- location goes from Ingolstadt/Eichstätt till Bozen/Meran with all cities and villages included, from Bavaria to South Tyrol is very familiar, almost same, because of the language, tradition, culture and mentality these german-speaking people or area have. Enjoy your holiday, and next time you have to visit South Tyrol, especially the Dolomites in St. Maddalena.
That's awesome
WOW... Im jealous^^ what a fantastic vacation (and the views from the peak top!) great 🤗
I can feel your excitement and holiday mood by watching the video. So, great work! 👍🤗
We couldn’t hide our vacation happiness 😍.
