@MrMikesok they have karaokes scattered everywhere. you can literally see these karaoke boxes in the bars, restaurants, malls, hotels, churches, boats, in the streets, mountains, rice and corn fields, etc. filipinos, rich and poor alike love to express themselves in singing. whether they're sad or happy - they just love singing their hearts out. karaoke's just simply part of being a filipino. now you know why they set the standards in singing.. and dancing too!

what I said was anybody who has the ability to hear knows how to listen to a song, we just have different ways.
actually I did not get your point. I am not sure if you meant, you can tell a good music when you hear it, then for me it's not knowing how to listen but individual appreciation of music.
Give him some credit hes only 12 plus i bet he can sing it better than all you critics on youtube

@TaeLiuMir , I'm not a fan of JB, but you got to admit he has the perfect voice for pop and he has the looks too. Which is why he sells. If this guys was to replace JB, he wouldn't do as well.

tzutzijhay, now I understand, but like I have told someone, the producers are the ones deciding what song the guest should sing. i hope you also remember that All By Myself is originally sang by Eric Carmen, the arrangement of which does not fit him either. So between orginal and Celine Dion's version, the latter fits him better.

As for the awkward thing, I cannot understand what you mean. A female song can be sung by a male, vice versa as long as they can do justice to the song.
In Rhap's case, I believe he did, but I can see that you do not agree with me.

What happened to him? Was he nervous coz it wasn't obvious. He is an excellent singer from the Philippines but this performance is not even within the standards of Filipino Singers. He was struggling reaching the high notes and was even out of tune. I hope, he'll be given a chance to sing again!
