A suggestion: carry a 12’ or larger tarp. Inflate, deflate and pack the 370 on the tarp. It may seem like an inconvenience but you’ll spend less time trying to get sand, dirt, leaves and/or grass on the 370. The tarp is especially useful if you’re launching from a gravel beach (possible sharp points).
Just purchased our 1st kayak, Sea Eagle SE 370 and your set-up and pack-up videos are still outstanding for beginners even 4 years later.... Thank you..
Rolling it up instead of trying to fold it was so helpful. Thank you so much. I battled with fitting my 370 into the bag far too many times before seeing your video :)
Thanks so much! We used our Sea Eagle 370 last week and had to store outside the bag because folding wasn’t working. Rolling it was much easier and it fit in the bag the first time!
This is exactly what we searched for, a video on how to pack up the Sea Eagle 370. And it worked great! Much better than the first time we tried it :-) We enjoyed the first video about he set-up too. Very helpful video, thank you!
just bought this kayak and waiting to get delivered. can't wait to use it. your video was super helpful as not many people show the deflating and store away process. great video ! hope you are still enjoying it in 2020 :)
Thanks for the comment and kind words. We still love our boat, and used it on our epic Alaska trip in the summer of 2019. Now we are based in central Florida and continue to use it on the clear, spring-fed rivers. Enjoy your new Sea Eagle!
Question for you RVers. I Fly Solo and looking and thinking I'm going to buy this Kayak. Do you think this Kayak will be good for 1 person and 2 dogs? I have a 6lb Maltese and a 30lb Queensland. Just trying to figure out the best option for me as a Solo Traveler
Sure, it's a good option. We rescued a dog in ours one time and though we were worried about toenails puncturing the floor, it wasn't an issue at all. These little boats are really durable. Certainly, there are many other options, but this is a great boat that's not a big investment and it stores nicely in the limited space of an RV.
@@HowardLindafromRV-Dreamscom oh thank you so much! Yes I've been scratching my head on what to buy. My 5er doesn't have much space. But I took the plunge on this model. Thank you.
Hi Julie, The skegs can bend in the bag if you roll the boat up too tight and have the skegs on the "inside" rather than on the "outside". You do have to be careful with them and use the inflatable skeg protectors that should have come with your boat to help. We were able to keep our skegs from bending, but we did have to pay attention on the SE370.
Great video! Bought one on FBM that had been used one time. Your videos help me learn how to set up and bag up! Thanks
Very helpful video. I just set mine up in the family room. I couldn't figure out how to deflate it. I'm glad I found your video.
Best Sea Eagle 370 demo yet.
Thank you so much I just got my new boat sea eagle And I can get it in the bag that was sent with it till I watch this video just roll it up thank you

Another nicely made video. That also answered my question about how you kept it so clean.

Thank you very much, Brandon.
Can you tell me if your skews bend in the bag.
