I’m guessing the 10% human workforce for Changan is for certain parts of assembly and QC as there are some things that a human is just better than robots. I don't know why so many people get excited about that. It is not like you are seeing some next level technology or something revolutionary. There are many such factories in Germany, Japan and the US. The robots that you are seeing are standard German and Japanese robots that you basically can see in every car factory you go to.

Hey guys, this is just a very ordinary modern car manufacturing plant in these days. You can find plants like these pretty much in every country. For instance, you can call and reserve a spot for a free tour at Georgetown plant of Toyota in Kentucky. Unlike this Changan plant which focuses on the car body, the Georgetown plant is highly integrated (the largest single plant assembly line) with a complete assembly line from rolls of steels to shining new cars. Best of all, it is open to the public, and it is free.

you can see a lot of this kind of factories in China,such as in Wuhan, Hangzhou,Guangzhou and Beijing. and in Shanghai, there is a super Tesla factory which is more advance than Changan's.
Not keen on finger print control, assuming that if your finger /thumb get injurerd, you can still open your car some how. By the way, 50 sec a car will mean about 1800 car a 24 hour day. You said 600 car a day. That will be 150 second a car. One more point, Changan pronounce as Chang An. Great show, enjoy your time in China.
I'm sure the possibility of you losing your keys is a thousand times more than you can lose your finger print. It's the age of the internet now, probably they can have a provision that whenever you somehow lose your finger print, you can call a number and when your identity is verified, they can open the door remotely for you and fix/update your finger print. To tell you the truth, I worked for a company where they took the print of the thumb and pointer finger of both my hands. We use our fingerprints to time in/out as well as go through security doors. I cut my right pointer finger enough that the reader won't acknowledge it. I just resulted to using my left one, I didn't even have to bother to do anything. The problem you cited is really very easy to solve, not a problem at all.

They are not and they will never be. The Chinese have ridiculously poor build quality and they can't match the safety standards for Europe and the US. As for the factory nothing so exciting or revolutionary at all. For decades there were such factories in Germany and Japan. The robot you saw in the video are all German and Japanese as well

I watched this robot car factory documentary 2 weeks ago. The IT team put so much time, effort and experiment in designing this robot accuracy in making car. So China really excel to making these cars

I don't know why so many people get excited about that. It is not like you are seeing some next level technology or something revolutionary. There are many such factories in Germany, Japan and the US. The robots that you are seeing are standard German and Japanese robots that you basically can see in every car factory you go to.

But where are those robots from? I saw the Kawasaki logo on robots, which means they are made in Japan. Or maybe some robots come from Germany. I'm wondering how many robots are really self-produced by China, and who did the robot programming. Although this factory is cool, as I see it's really cool until everything including robot, engine, and gearbox is independently produced in China. I hope it will come true in the near future.

Hey guys, this is just a very ordinary modern car manufacturing plant in these days. You can find plants like these pretty much in every country. For instance, you can call and reserve a spot for a free tour at Georgetown plant of Toyota in Kentucky. Unlike this Changan plant which focuses on the car body, the Georgetown plant is highly integrated (the largest single plant assembly line) with a complete assembly line from rolls of steels to shining new cars. Best of all, it is open to the public, and it is free.
The Terminator, also known as a Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 or the T-800 arrives at Changan:

you can see a lot of this kind of factories in China,such as in Wuhan, Hangzhou,Guangzhou and Beijing. and in Shanghai, there is a super Tesla factory which is more advance than Changan's.

By the way, 50 sec a car will mean about 1800 car a 24 hour day. You said 600 car a day. That will be 150 second a car.

I'm sure the possibility of you losing your keys is a thousand times more than you can lose your finger print. It's the age of the internet now, probably they can have a provision that whenever you somehow lose your finger print, you can call a number and when your identity is verified, they can open the door remotely for you and fix/update your finger print.
To tell you the truth, I worked for a company where they took the print of the thumb and pointer finger of both my hands. We use our fingerprints to time in/out as well as go through security doors. I cut my right pointer finger enough that the reader won't acknowledge it. I just resulted to using my left one, I didn't even have to bother to do anything. The problem you cited is really very easy to solve, not a problem at all.
