OMG!! Magical for sure. The scene of the geese swimming on the water reflecting the clouds in the sky gave me "goose bumps" ! You are right it was SPECTACULAR!!! You have a great artistic eye Shaun. Thank you for not throwing this " in the bucket" Breathtaking ❤🏴
So grateful you didn't scrap this Shaun. It's so beautiful and breathtaking. Makes me even more homesick for Scotland a land I have never been. Thank you as always Shaun and God bless you and Teka. 🌷💜🙃🙏
I'm so happy you didn't chuck this footage in the bin!! Shaun, some of these shots literally brought me to tears! I'm sitting on my couch watching this on a huge 4k TV just like you told me to do with tears streaming down my face because I have never in my life seen such beauty!! I had saved my money and had planned a once in a lifetime trip to Scotland last year...and then the pandemic hit and it seems like now it's all just a fantasy that will never happen. You have no idea what your videos do for me. I'm a Celtic girl at heart stuck in Arkansas America longing to visit those mountains and loches that you almost threw in the bin, so please don't ever think about doing that again lol. Forever waiting on your next video... Jamie

Stunning footage. I'm happy you didn't chuck it and gave us the opportunity to experienceit. I did get a chuckle when you said "Teka try it, it's not that bad, it's really not that bad" as you try to shake the feeling back into your fingers.
Finally did! Had only been to Paris but this stole my heart!!! It was just breathe taking & magical even got to sleep in a small castle! It was a must do bucket list! Just went in September before Covid broke out in 2020 if we booked last year we would have not gotten in any of the tourist areas or castles or restaurants! The history, ruins, Highlands are beyond magical, rent & car & just drive best way to do Scotland 🏴! Life is short & precious! Hope you make it there one day you won’t be disappointed!❤️🇨🇦
@@shaunvlog I've been several times (also to England) to visit friends. My heritage is mostly Scotland & England and I've loved them since a young age. I've been to Edinburgh about 5 times. I can't get enough of it. I've only travelled to the UK. I don't want to go anywhere else. 🏴🇬🇧🇺🇸❤️
The visuals are amazing and your incredible enthusiasm just magnified the beauty! Thanks, so very much, for sharing!!! I’m grateful for you and Tekka!🥰🏴
This was absolutely beautiful! Seriously, some of the best footage of Scotland I've seen! And you were going to put this in the bin?! That would have been tragic. Glad you decided to share it instead! Really enjoyed this!

I love your videos Shaun. Since I cannot travel to Scotland I love to see all the aspects, city, country, rain, snow, sunshine. I will probably never get to visit the home of my ancestors, these videos are thoroughly enjoyed.
Shaun, these are your BEST videos!! The fact that you almost didn't post them is a COMPLETE joke!! This is YOUR personal history and YOUR personal observations about the Scotland that you love.
Scotland is a very magical place. I can understand why they have so many legends and myths! Extraordinary beauty that compares to none. Wow! I’m so so glad you chose to show us this. If you’ve got more bring them on! Mary
Sometimes your videos of Scotland look so much like Tennessee and North Carolina. And other times it looks so otherworldly! Looking at the mountains and forests make me feel the same when I look at our mountains and forests here in my home states of Tennessee and North Carolina. That sunset was one of the most stunning things I've ever seen, and those drone shots made me fall in love with Scotland all over again. Thanks for sharing this, Shaun!
Thanks for bringing back the best memories I have ever had! Its truly a magical place that will never leave my memories! Thank god I went the year before lock down!!!! ❤️🇨🇦🏴
Beautiful scenery! Best ever! Thank you for sharing this with us. Your to funny. Yes, they make windshield fluid that can take the cold temps. A credit card will scrap the ice off your car windshield if its not thick and it wont fall off. Please share more of your beautiful highlands. I am from the US northern states. I had record breaking snowfall this year. Over 100 inches total for the season. Hope to see these places in the Spring.
It's just magical! The sunset on the loch, the mist, the drone shots from above, the cute little ducks 🤗 And it was so nice to see your genuine joy from all the beauty around you! It is one of the most spectacular videos I've seen! I wish I had that big screen TV 😅 Thank you Shaun for sharing this! I think no lockdown should keep away such beauty from your viewers!😌
This was stunning I love the drone footage and how you were able to capture the surroundings from the air. Perfection! I actually had the joy of seeing a red squirrel back in 2004. A friend of ours from Guildford. He was so upset that I had seen one. Basically said the same thing. "I was born here, and never seen one. You're here and not even two weeks, you see one" We would have been there living the life by now, but the pandemic put it on hold. Thank you to both your wife and you for keeping my determination of us moving over there.
I've only visited Scotland in the summer so I had no idea how incredibly beautiful it was during the winter. The shots with the snow and the rivers were my favorite. Also how can you not love a snowy, winter wonderland? Perfect.
Thank you for this. My Dream is to travel to the UK mainly to explore Scotland and its history. After the coronavirus outbreak, my plan came to a quick stop, so your videos bring so much joy. So grateful.
Saun, I can see why this vlog is your favorite! It is positively stunning! I want so badly to visit Scotland and see some of these gorgeous landscapes and castles and experience the people, culture and history. Maybe one of these days, God willing. Until then I’ll just have to live vicariously through your beautiful vlogs. Thanks for bringing Scotland to those of us who can’t be there.
That was such a beautiful video! I loved the colours and the atmosphere that you captured and the music just added to it to make more powerful images. It truly is the essence of Scotland.
Your right Shaun about this video. Took my breath away so beautiful! Did you like the picture I sent of the trees in Cherokee North Carolina? I dream for better days and things to open back up. I been depressed and this made me smile. Thank you and Teka for all you do for us.
Wowwww...you were right. It would have been such a travesty not to share this video and at 13:57, i was in tears. It was soo beautiful, so peaceful. I was soo jealous of the ducks. Thank you for sharing it.
Catching up on your videos. Can't believe you said you almost put this in the bin! Absolutely beautiful. It's because we can not travel to your beautiful country right now that we need these wonderful videos!❤
Beautiful. The shot with the ducks swimming amid the refection looked like they were swimming in the clouds. And, what an amazing place to watch the sunset! I personally would not want to have to go wee outside in those temperatures! lol! I am so glad you decided to finally go ahead and post the video. It would have been such a waste to have not shared the lovely footage. Thank you also for sharing the links to the music.
Where I'm from, we don't worry as much about the recorded temperature but, about the wind chill. We had a stint of -25 Celsius for a week a few weeks ago. Only then do you worry about the actual temperature as any wind will get the wind chill well below safety levels. At -6 you'll be a bit chilly is all . For a windscreen, if you can, grab a handful of snow and use it to scrub the windscreen. Snow is frozen water after all. Love the content. I have a son at Uni in Glasgow. Looking forward to the time I can come visit again (and when he can come home).
The national lockdown continues in Canada too. I was in a personal health "quarantine" for a year before Covid and because of Covid am now approaching two and a half years mostly in lockdown. Beautiful video. Glad you posted it. I'll be over for the my clan reunion in 2023. May I suggest that you kilt more often, because you can. P.S. The Canadian windshield winter fluid dilemma is choosing between -30°C and -40°C.
Thank you Shaun for doing this, my heart is missing Scotland so much. This has been the longest I’ve been away , and I’m broken hearted... so thank you for all you do, it truly keeps me positive that soon I’ll get back...
Shaun I discovered you last year. I love all your vlogs and this one is exceptionally beautiful! Thank you so very much for sharing such exquisite scenery! I live in California and I also create videos. As I write this I working on my next video, "Searching for my Clan Keith Roots at Dunnattor Castle." I will be sharing your name and a few things I learned from you about the Scottish culture. I am so appreciate and grateful for your energy, talent and spirit! Keep up the great work! Kay Kopit❤
Shaun, I did some research about Strontian. Around the end of the 18th century, they discovered a new element in the minerals of the lead mines of Stontian. They called it Strontium in honor of Strontian.
Brilliant. Great shots. It's always interesting to see what other countries look like in their season changes. Scotland is so wonderous. I think no matter what country your in, snow always adds extra beauty to it. Thanks for sharing. ♥️
That was amazingly beautiful. Something I learned recently is that the mountains of Scotland and the mountains of Norway and Sweden were all part of the Appalachian mountains when the earth's one continent was Pangea. Maybe the Scottish migrated to North Carolina because the mountains reminded them of home. Stay well.
That was beautiful. I have 4K on my laptop with a 17' inch screen. The shots of the loch and the view from overhead were amazing. You chose the perfect music also. I found it very soothing. Thank you so much for sharing, Shaun.
You’re right Shaun, this is the best video I’ve seen on your channel, maybe in the top 3 I’ve seen on Scotland. Such a beautiful sunset with the snowy mountains in the background. I so long to visit Scotland, and have wanted to for years. Thank you so much! BTW, yer phunnie too...
Oh Shaun, this video made me emotional! I've been trying to organize a little tour around Scotland for my holidays this year, and this video left me breathless! Oh I can't wait to visit Scotland, it's my biggest dream
Again, Shaun, the unbroken continuity and rich, relevant content of the Scottish snow adventure are excellently executed. I appreciate how you add sparks of experience to the treks and their destinations through physical interaction with their essence, e.g., your reacting to plunging your hand into the loch's crystal-clear, bitingly cold water; your ice cracking or snow crunching as you trek--such are key parts of the sensorium of a real trip. Well done. Moreover, I appreciate you expansive use of scale, e.g., views of the trek's land from high in the sky to views of the waterfowl at their own level on the arctic beach. Finally, I greatly enjoy the off-theme incidents that occur on a real road trip, e.g., testing whether the solvent would freeze on the windscreen--plus that was a cool way to cinematographically dissolve to a close with you on the dark, snow-banked road in perspective against a low, steel-blue patch of twilight at day's end. Thank you for adding to our life experiences in a good way, Shaun.
Thank you so very much for posting this video! It is wonderful footage... I can't wait to get my husband to sit down this evening and watch it on our 65 inch tv again it is beautiful! We are doing research for our trip to Scotland as soon as they open up the country and we can get the tickets!
Oh Shaun fantastic. just buzzing that in month or so i will be back in the hills .. been long winter... we are coming out this lockdown .. Go and enjoy and appreciate every day people . ..Scotland I luv ye.
Absolutely STUNNING footage! Really glad you decided to air this! Suggestion for your windscreen fluid-get a bottle, the size you would normally keep in your medicine/first aide cabinet, and put half of that bottle in with the windscreen washer fluid. It helps. ❤️ Keep up the GREAT videos.
Amazing video Shaun! So glad you decided to show it to us! Reminder of beautiful days yet to come and more adventures to be had! Just incredible and hopeful!

13.08 i was blown away, it must be heaven. Thanks Shaun 🙏❤️
Beautiful. Looking forward to visiting hills and lakes again.
Incredible. Spectacular photography. Thank you.
An award winning video! So many beautiful places to see. That sunset Oh My God amazing. Thank you so much for that journey!
You're right this vlog is beautiful. Snow is like frosting on the world.
Beautiful. Love this country as a biker. Went there in sept 2019 With 2 motorbikes. A magic country.
Oh Shaun, this video made me emotional! I've been trying to organize a little tour around Scotland for my holidays this year, and this video left me breathless! Oh I can't wait to visit Scotland, it's my biggest dream
Beautiful thank you for sharing....so glad u did!!!!
Your photography is stunning in this video, Shaun! Absolutely gorgeous views & the color of the sky during the sunset was amazing.
