Every song he sings is just perfect. What an absolutely fantastic voice. I love every song on all of his personal CDs and the four Survivor CDs that he sings on. Jimi was still singing strong in his late 50s and early '60s. One of the greatest rock singers! Never forgotten. 👏🎤🎹

Jimi was one of my dearest friends in the world growing up and especially when he sang for Target. Go back and listen to some of his early stuff with that band. They were my favorite "bar band" in Memphis for many years. They had 2 fantastic albums. RIP dear friend. Gone to soon.
Oh my gracious! I was able to find some CD’s of their (Target) music on Ebay last year. What a treat that was 😀. Much heavier sound than Survivor. I also found a song by The Debuts here on RUclips. I believe he was a teenager at the time. What a voice this man had!
Those TARGET albums are Amazing. I have them on Vinyl, Mint condition and still sealed. The Remastered CD’s are great as they come with a booklet each and are a great read. There is also that 3rd CD by TARGET that was released a few years ago, another GREAT one. SWEET JIMI was a Beautiful, Kind Soul and so Humble and I miss him every single day💔💔💔

As a Brit, just over 6 weeks ago the only Survivor songs I knew were the big 2 and I hadn't even heard of Jimi. In that short period of time Survivor have overtaken Bon Jovi as my all time favourite band. Jimi has just blown me away
Please watch Firefest 2010 it is the best concert ever. He was with H.E.A.T and Tommy Densnder (sp?). Anyways it has deemed to be the best concert in Firefest history. Enjoy

Survivor was usually relegated to being that band that did songs for Rocky and The Karate Kid. I thought they were highly under-rated by critics. The truth is they were a band of super-talented musicians who put on incredible live shows.

Electrifying performance - this performance ranks up there with "Solitary Man" for best male heartbreak song ever. The way the vocals change from sadness to anger is awesome - unbelievable how good Jimi sounds live, I've got chills.
