    Does the screw in the chuck make reverse turning dangerous?

      Usually not but care should be taken.

    In the '60s the ML7 etc was considered to be toolroom quality! A great hobby lathe.

    My Dear, how you make this feed low speed on ML7? i think my ML7 is missing few parts and backgears..

    Part off with a rear mounted toolpost on the cross slide and an inverted tool, you'll never want to use the conventional method again !

    Great video.
    I just wish you'd stop referring to it as an 'amateur' lathe; the standard of build and its versatility (packed into that tiny machine), warrants more respect.
