I wish Figbid would use tasting (and other) categories such as you've done in your spreadsheet. It'd really be nice to be able to sort the listings by factors such as taste, hardiness, yield, etc.

You should pollinate some figs and create your own fig varieties. With all those figs together you could cultivate some good figs. You could call the fig Ross or Fig boss.

Hello Ross, I think people like me are crazy about growing figs because, they cannot buy the variety they want to try. There are so many varieties out there unless you grow them yourself, you will never be able to taste them .

Have you considered getting into breeding a fig that meets your requirements? You’ve certainly got enough excellent figs there to work with.

I sure wish that I had found this a few years back. ^7 years old I dont have that many years to play with the figs to see what I like.
I sure wish that I could just get you to pick me out 4 figs with one being later to get ripe. I am in north Louisiana but not a big LSU fan. Thanks Sam Willoughby

There’s a guy in Toronto who grows figs. If you become involved in the OurFigs.com forum, he’s not terribly hard to find. He goes to great lengths to protect his figs during the winter. He also mentions what varieties he grows. I’m thinking the further north you go, you probably want figs on the early side because you don’t have as long a season.

Here is a video he did on Azores Dark, maybe you’ll find the information you want there.

Good grief man, I'd really like to enjoy your videos, you have tons of knowledge, but any of your videos could be one fourth the length, I just can't manage to make it through one, it just seems to ramble and ramble.
