- Hull Fair 2023 Opening Night
We went to Hull Fair on opening night! Walton Street was full of it's usual fantastic stalls offering tasty treats like candy floss, toffee apples, and brandy snap! As well as some delicious street food offerings.
The fair itself was so atmouspheric. The lights from the rides were amazing, and the view from the big ferris wheel was just fantastic!!
I had all the fun at the fair! What is your go to food at Hull Fair? And are you brave enough to go on the big rides?

Great vid, yeah you're right about the volume, I had to cut about half my video due to really poor sound quality from my rubbish microphone 😠😠, gonna go back tonight I think and do another shorter video 😊, gets crazy busy after dark doesn't it

Oh thank you, I did. I hope you did too :) Some of the rides were just incredible weren't they! I think I need to work up to the big fast ones haha.

Well everyone's been calling me scaredy cat at work after this video, so at least I'm not alone 😂 I did fancy a fun house or going on the bouncy frog ride though! There would be sooooo much food for you to review at least :D I can imagine you trying the foot long rainbow fries.
My favourite food is Chili hot dog And I favourite | that ride is bomber
Used to go there when I lived in the UK - but the prices were stupid for the rides so stopped going.
Love this .... I'm currently at Goose Fair they both claim to be the largest fair... which do you think is the the biggest Goose or Hull...
The Goose Fair looks bigger than the view of Hull she took from the top of the wheel, but I would say the Hoppings (Newcastle) is bigger still.
That game she played looks rigged. The slots in the middle of the board where she has to roll her balls to get the higher scores are usually narrower than the ones on the outside and the table is slightly slanted from the middle of the board to the outsides. That's why her balls (and the other ones) all ended up in the outside (lower scoring) slots. I saw something similar on an episode of Rogue Traders many years ago.
Oooo, I want to visit both Nottingham Goose Fair and The Hoppings. I think it depends whether it's based on area covered, amount of rides and attractions, or visitors, because in each category I think all three indevidually would win for biggest 😅
