"It appears to be a self-sustaining tornado made of trash." "Aren't we all." "Partaking of worthless trash fills you with determination." "I, too, like anime." The Undertale playthrough was great.
I think my favorite PlayFrame bits are the ones where Dan Jones confidently shouts out a timestamp. Doesn't matter what's actually playing at that time.
Two streamers means twice the opportunity to think of jokes, and also means twice the opportunity to notice something obvious rather than wandering around lost for half an episode and a montage...
Astrid talking about worker's rights and such and Dan just responding with 'Do you want breakfast' gets me every time. I forgot about it but it's so good!
I, for one, can't wait to hear Dan's rendition of Spamton G Spamton when he finally plays Deltarune. It'll be a [once in a lifetime, no money back guarantee!]
I was really hoping one of those Zelda/Metroid Randomizer clips was going to be the one where Dan Floyd randomly said, "Forget it, Jake. It's missiles." Such an unexpected reference that really made me smile the first time. This is also kind of making me want to watch the Jedi Fallen Order series again. That was a really good playthrough.
3:40: The most accurate depiction of food service work I've seen in a video game, ever. 15:20: Why was that the first thing Dan Jones thought of? (Have we confirmed that he's not a spider monkey wearing a shirt and hat stolen from a dead explorer?) 23:15: Dropping is just throwing with less enthusiasm. 33:15: I think Alphys knows _exactly_ how far fanfiction goes. Assuming she realizes a game about the Underground has been out for, like, five years. 40:50: As fun as Competent Floyds can be, Loopy Floyds are a whole different kind of fun. 50:30: I assure you, it was perfectly fine for the viewers. 54:05: (Did anyone actually take them up on that idea?) 1:00:35: I'm kinda sad that the actual 15:02 of that video wasn't included...unless that clip of jumping up through the floor ended at 15:02? But not much happened after that, so whatever. 1:06:25: If there's one piece of furniture that rule should be relaxed for, it's that futon. The cat can't do anything worse to it than Giovanni already has. (Look at those gashes!) 1:10:35: I mean, there are ice _cream_ sandwiches... 1:40: Dancing is the most important aspect of crouching. Unless it's useful for gameplay purposes, somehow, but what are the odds of that? 8:00: regret 9:00: The best part of playing Overcooked is cracking up at your own terrible food puns. Unless you can get someone _else_ to crack up at your food puns, but I've yet to find empirical evidence that this is possible. 13:20: At least you _write_ the emails... 19:45: I feel like Mettaton is cheating. 21:15: Speaking as someone with food service experience, stage magic rarely makes our work easier. 24:24: In retrospect, it's weird how few Determination montages there were in _the_ Determination game. 29:15: Ooh, some Baba Is You alongside the Overcooked? 30:05: No spoilers, guys. 35:35: No, that one was a stretch. Maybe if it only had one "arm/I'm" substitution... 37:00: (By the way, they're flamingoes.) 43:35: Okay seriously _why_ are those things? 47:50: Spiritfarer might be a bit too casual to properly discuss labor rights issues. (But I'm glad they tried.) 51:50: "It must be ftagn o'clock." 58:15: And you thought terrible food puns were restricted to the Overcooked videos. 1:02:40: Maybe he just doesn't know the knights you're making jokes about. That joke doesn't land if you don't know Specter Knight is literally a ghost. 1:09:45: You know you've been in quarantine too long when furbies start to look appealing...
7:48: I first played Shovel Knight in 2015, snagging it out of sheer curiosity after hearing so much talk about it. It didn't take me long to beat King Knight, as you'd expect. I went back to talk to the Deposed King shortly afterwards, as you'd expect. I just assumed Plume and Beaky were a couple anonymous subjects of his. I'd always assumed that. The gag of him referring to the hostile griffins you're meant to whack in the face did not click with me until watching this video in this late November of 2022. That joke went over my head for a little over seven years. I was in my earlier years of high school back then. Now I'm in my later years of university. I got a high school diploma, declared an engineering major, found a passion for writing and drawing, as hobbies, and became an indie game and indie music obsessed maniac partially because of this game and a number of others... all before making that connection between the words "plume" & "beaky" and the two bird enemies in that entire stage being referenced. I... I need a minute.
Yes!!!!!! The videos that always make me go back and watch previous playthroughs!!! Seriously I adore these videos and it must be hard to make these so thank you!!
"It appears to be a self-sustaining tornado made of trash."

The Undertale playthrough was great.
"THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RICE!" 😂 That got me the first time and it got me again now! 😂❤️
It's the fact she said it and immediately dissolved into like 3 minutes of incoherent chuckling that got me
29:14 This is when Carrie became good at Baba is You. So the PlayFrame lore goes.
"I don't have a sword and only 1 heart."
So a Legend of Normal Guy run then?
The absolute chaos of the Randomiser run denying basic items and feeding them more missiles than physically exist in the game was a marvel.
I think my favorite PlayFrame bits are the ones where Dan Jones confidently shouts out a timestamp. Doesn't matter what's actually playing at that time.
There are so many great co-op moments that i think co-op is my favorite part of Playframe.

I have seen this as a meme countless times.
And I still love every second of it.
33:25 The crouching really puts that scene over the top.
The surprise spider attack from Fallen Order was just so good! Thank you for all of this, Dan and co!
These always make my day so much better!
Me and my siblings regularly quote these highlights to each other. Particularly the ones from Hollow Knight.
"Failed to boing" comes into my head quite often in my (clumsy) daily life.
Carrie dying of laughter while chasing Dan around with a plate is just too precious.
I, for one, can't wait to hear Dan's rendition of Spamton G Spamton when he finally plays Deltarune.
It'll be a [once in a lifetime, no money back guarantee!]
Hey, rejoice! that momentous day was today! ^^
Playframe is always MY highlight of the day.
29:45 Chicken is. Language is not. Baba is you.

Woah, 2021 highlights, already? It isn't even march 2022 yet!
A wonderful addition to my anti-depression playlist. Thank you for so much delight!
1:01 Poor Carrie can’t catch a break in Overcooked, can she?
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice beam.
The NES FF1 game over music for Plume and Beaky is still brilliant
I love these Highlight reels for showing me moments in playthroughs I didn't manage to watch. "The duality of Dan" moment at 31:30 was primo.

shrimp in the streets... Cuttlefish in the sheets?
I was JUST WATCHING the 2020 highlight reels and wondering when the first of 2021 would be released!
7:48: I first played Shovel Knight in 2015, snagging it out of sheer curiosity after hearing so much talk about it. It didn't take me long to beat King Knight, as you'd expect. Turns out they're fine. Nobody dies in that world; they just get defeated.
@@jameshart2622 That's good. I wouldn't want to have the king walking in to find his Griffin friends out for the count. :
1:06:48 the timing on that one was perfection.
I just want to see I love your videos when you're with extra credits you really got me into history on the Bismarck videos
Yes!!!!!! The videos that always make me go back and watch previous playthroughs!!! Seriously I adore these videos and it must be hard to make these so thank you!!
I so look forward to these every year!
These continue to be the greatest argument I'm favor of you 3 starting a comedy show
Made my day! :D
So many great moments from this Highlight reel; I laughed so loud at the joke about anime and the Cthulhu-clock
An hour of highlights?
A) you've been busy!
B) yes please!
56:34 Bookmarking this for later.
Always a good day when one of these comes out! :D
35:46 CARRIIIIIIT! CARRIIIIIIIIITT!! CARRIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTT!!!!!
Oh already?! NICE!
"Do you want chocolate?"
"I'm going to get another one to feed to my pancake"
Can't believe it's already this time again
So many good moments, so little time.
Well, I'll be watching this tonight.
No wonder they're struggling with Baba is You, They've got PTSD from cooking which gets brought up any time they face "X is Y" syntax
I love this. This is gold.😆
They skipped the shark bite song I am really sad about this. That's my most favorite carrie moment
Fun Fact: Bananas can't spoil, they continue to ripen their entire life even after being picked off the tree.
Carrie, always a treasure. ^_^
THIS ISN'T BLOODBORNE!!
"finally play as princess Zelda for the first time in 25 years." Seriously, freaking Peach has been playable more than Zelda
Man I miss Dan Jones solo playthroughs on the channel
I definitely think Carrie has the right views on coffee.
Oh, I hope the other bit of the egg ruminations from Overcooked will be on the later highlights. Or was I the only one who found that funny?
"the customer is always rice"
........ goodness
"To Serve Man" indeed.
I am seriously hoping that the shark bite song is in this if it's not then I am going to be disappointed
