    Can you explain why we do not want the horse’s inside hind stepping under but instead tracking up to inside front? The in-hand instruction I’ve been given has been to encourage the inside hind to step more under midline.

      we DO want the horse's inside hind leg to step towards midline, but NOT to cross over the outside hind leg. We don't want the hips to swing outward.

    This exercise would also serve for the decompensation of the left glute, how many circles do you do? It can also be done in straight line. Thank you.

      General rule of thumb is 3 to 6 circles each direction
