Good Morning Miyazaki is one of my favourite surf movies. Thats how I came across yours and it was pleasure to watch. I love Japan. People, food, countryside. Its all so different. Lots of good memories.

Great video, watched it a few times already. I fell in love with Miyazaki and visit every year. I plan on moving and retiring there. I was just there Sept 2021 and returning July 2022. Was planning to camp in the car for the first few days as well, but worried about where to park without upsetting the police and charging up the gear. Found one free camp site (Tonahama), but not sure if i can charge up the laptop, camera batteries, etc… Any suggestions??? Or did you just search for empty remote areas?

For me i usually park at either Kaeda/kisaki or down around Aoshima…no stresses from anyone…for charging hit up Komeda coffee/coco curry…or ask one if the local cafes…there are camp sites here and there but I haven’t used them…I actually moved to Miyazaki after this trip.
