Yes, my investment Verizon was over 20 years, but it will take five more years of modest single digit returns before both those funds breakeven So just put it into any investment interest rate calculator when do the math Just use the simple S&P 500 as an example It went from higher 4800 to a low of 3400 Within two years, it’s within 5% of the 4800 That is acceptable Just do the math on these ark funds and you’ll see it still down 50% and it is not going up So be careful out there don’t be deceived One last thing Find one credible source that says good things about the ark funds Just one Wish you the best of success

While this period has been favourable, a Morningstar comparison from March 2020 to Date paints a very different picture. As sub-advisors to ARK, and promoters of their funds, I doubt whether this presentation would address the discrepancy over the longer time period, but the two charts might illuminate the situation better for potential investors.
This is most definitely a long term growth story story. No doubt there will volatility along the way in growth oriented investing. ARK's 2023 performance especially demonstrates ARKETFs' exposure to AI innovation.
