TINA TURNER, OMG she is the best, I have always loved Tina since I was a teenager and I am 73 and still listen to her. She is the Queen of Rock n Roll, nobody can come close to her. She might be 78 but she sure does not look it. She always looks good Love you Tina, don't never stop Rocking n Rolling.

I agree. Odd as it may sound that Tina, a superstar is an underappreciated artist, she certainly is. Because she is clearly so much better than most people know. Her potential was not well managed. I mean her success of 1984 was alright ; after that, "Break Every Rule" was exquisite, maybe too good, but the charts didn´t show it ( it was a time of amazing music as well) ; "Foreign Affair" was as great, still simply the best, Tina´s first attempt to retire from touring ; then came the first greatest hits compilation in 1991 with some interesting new tracks, like "Love Thing" and the beautiful "Way of the World", her most underrrated song , I think. In 1993 came the biographic film and the song "I don´t Wanna fight", and she had to improvise another tour. In 1995 the James Bond film and Goldeneye caused her new album "Wildest Dreams", which is excellent too, featuring Sting, the Pet Shop Boys, Antonio Banderas, and even Barry White. In 1997 the duet with Eros Ramazzotti was something special. Then she finished the century with 24/7 her last studio full album, also great , but with some unnecessary imitation of Cher ( at the time they shared the same manager). That was another so called " farewell tour "and Tina live at 60 was amazing . I was there in the crowd twice. Then it was released Tina´s (original) version of Carlos Santana´s "Game of Love", far better tan the Grammy award winning one, but too late. The next album was another greatest hits compilation with a few new songs, among which they chose "Open Arms" as a promotion single, not bad at all but a clear mistake, because "Complicated Disaster " should have been the one, in spite of its name. Then There was nothing new except the beyond proyect , which is far from rock and pop , but it gave Tina the chance to use her voice for spiritual messages very well. I like it a lot. But still I think there was a potential in Tina which was not developed completely. She could have sung so many more hits! Of course. We , her audience wuold have been blissed. But she didn´t need it, and if she felt she had worked enough, she certainly had and she is entitled to do so. But as long as she lives I can´t help waiting for another Tina song. So I´m a little bit dissappointed that her latest 2020 release is another remix of "What´s love Got to Do with it" I wonder what´s creativity got to do with it, but i have to remid myself that Tina is almos 81 and deserves a full retirement. She had sung quite a lot!
TINA, you are my Queen, also the Rock Queen, but let´s make it clear... you can be Queen of any genre of music! It´s simply (the best) Queen of all! Happy Birthday and warm greetings from Brasil, from this heart!

My family came to the US . when I was 8yrs old from 🇮🇹 Italy. If you went to Negozio di alimer tari . as you shopped you would constantly hear the song Mid night train to Georgia. Wanna hear something funny hear the market cashier sing that song . I can't speak for my entire birth country. But where I was from Palermo American music was it especially the Motown sound Gladys Knight.
