It just amazed me how many folks missed how genuinely funny this movie was. Just great chemistry between the three actors. I became a big fan of the young lady Ms. Rice. She was brillant. Go see this movie and pay attention to the lines and acting nuiances on this film. I just loved it.
This movie is a hidden gem. One of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It's so stupid yet is put together so well that it flows so smooth. Every character is so well cast. I can't see anyone playing any character other than the originals. The timeline and the retro of the 70's aspects felt so real from what I remember as a kid growing up in that time period. My mother even had a Toronado but in gold.

This interview was good. If these two direct a movie together, it should be done like an ED WOOD film, as in how those were directed, the same type of ad lib, with them discussing the actors and scenes in the same impartial way. Russell's groundedness juxtaposed with Ryan's frivolity will bring an interesting mix, the script however is altogether another catch, but seemingly as Russell did outstandingly with Gladiator not having anything substantial to begin with script-wise, and his improv was more than enough to carry it through to something that remarkable, it might just work. Just a thought though.
