Nice start to your journey. If you have the time, explore the Gippsland Lakes. We did, inadvertently as Covid locked us down for 3 months, but Paynesville was worth the stopover. After that delay, the prevailing winds were mostly against us as was the East Australia Current and more lock outs and no entries. But all in all, it was a great experience sailing from Wyndham Harbour in Port Philip Bay to Bowen in North Queensland in a 30’ catamaran.

What a cool looking little boat. Cheers!
Thanks guys. I subscribe to your channel and enjoy your videos very much. Cheers
Would love to see a tour of your boat. Tom Thumb is one of my favorite design for a small boat. Nice vid!
I plan to do a tour when I get back to the boat. I think you will be impressed with her room and fitout.

Will do. Sounds like a big trip. Thanks for your comment.
I have been very interested in the Tom Thumb 305. There is like zero info out there.

What does she weigh?
About 3.5 tonnes. Very light for a steel boat
She's a lot of boat for 24 ft
She sure is. Wait until you see her internal space when I do a tour.
