Free Your Mind | A film by Ruth Hogben and Gareth Pugh | Factory International

Globally renowned filmmaker Ruth Hogben has collaborated with iconic fashion designer Gareth Pugh on a new film, offering a glimpse at the aesthetic of our Matrix-inspired opening show Free Your Mind, for which Pugh has designed the costumes.
It marks a continuation of the relationship between creative disruptors Hogben and Pugh who’ve worked on previous campaign imagery together. Conjuring up worlds and characters that blur the lines between the metaverse and real life.
Hogben’s unique style has seen her work with artists including Prince, Kanye West and Lady Gaga - the latter for whom she won multiple awards during her time as creative director, overseeing Gaga’s 2017 Super Bowl performance and tribute to David Bowie at the 2016 Grammy Awards.
