I believe Ed cut his hair halfway decently short in '87, right after the 5150 tour. There's a vid somewhere of him at the NAMM show and his bangs are very short.
He endorsed the Music Man guitars until September 1995 & used a couple of Wolfgang protos as well on the Balance tour.

hagars range is poopy in this. too bad mike doesnt have a cooler sounding middle range or a frontman personality because his voice is in-fucking-credible and he never lost it.
