Hence, the coconut palm is endearingly called ‘kalpavriksha’ meaning the tree of heaven. The copra obtained by drying the kernel of coconut is the richest source of vegetable oil containing 65 to 70 per cent oil.

Tree of life coconut every parts are useful. The leaves can make the roof the body lumber can build house the fruits can eat..the strings from leaves can make broomsticks. Some parts can make firewood. The coconut shell with skin can make floor scrub. The clean coco shell can make bowl or whaever you want..coconut is very useful tree..thats why in our country Philippines we called it The tree of life.

Coconut shell can be used as a bottle. Bought 1kg coconut from my local store (the coco is from Ivory Coast though, but in my country such big coconuts are really rare, normally they weight around 400-600 g), combined it with some burned clay and plastic bottle top. Used the meat for cookies and got myself a nice 650 ml bottle. Better than that plastic trash they sell in stores anyways.
