Amazing! I grew up with this song and it's fun to hear how Jadyn made it her own. Loved it.
Recently (it is 2020-11-29 now) Jadyn covered Sia's song "Chandelier". And guess what: although probably much more difficult as this one is: she nailed it perectly. Jadyn just has no vocal limits....

This song is actually from the 60s and not a Sia original.
I really don't know how misguided someone needs to be to think CALIFORNIA DREAMING is Sia's song... especially if you are closer to 30 than 20 years old.

"Misguided?" All Petra did is read Jadyn's cover song video title. Maybe Petra didn't read Jadyn's description or decided to stick with just mentioning Jadyn's video title.
"Closer to 30?" The song is 55 years old.

I am following Jadyn for a couple of years now on RUclips. There, on her channel, you can also find some songs she did when she was 8-9 years of age: not just cute because she was so little back than but also awesome stuff to listen to: I think Jadyn "could sing before she could talk" (lyric from a ABBA song 😂😂). This is a recent one and she is 2 years older than the previous ones you reacted on: Jadyn was 13 years of age when she covered this one. Now she is 14 and yes, her sound, voicecontrol and breathcontrol are "out of this world". And more than that: she is capable of singing more than one genre of music: musical, balads, rock, country, sad, happy,... And than, in addition to that, she is performing every song perfectly, with all the emotions and expressions in it. Watch it: this goes further than "just" singing. And when you want to know who is training/teaching her vocal- and performing talents allready for years now? Watch "More than words": the gitarplayer in that video is her music teacher. She must be very special as well: to recognize talent and keeping children motivated to practice (no question Jadyn and the others need to practice a lot...) their voices and breathing technics. Awesome.

This song is a big part of my young adulthood. The Mamas and Papas are one of my favorite groups from that era. Sia's version is terrific, and Jadyn does a very good job of covering it. She has a great voice and I like her stage presence. For a completely different take on this song, listen to Angelina's acoustic (one guitar) rendition at age 12. She slows it way down, modifies the notes, and gives it a melancholy, bluesy flavor. The Mommas and Pappas is probably the best known but the original is by Barry McGuire.

Wow is right. In my opinion, and I have not heard Sia sing this as of yet, but, and this is just my opinion, I think it is better than the original. I thought the Beach boys sang the original but after reading the comments, I am seeing "Mommas and Poppas" sang it, which is all cool beans. This little angel has had quite a few covers she has done that I have just loved listening to.
It's actually two members of The Mamas and The Papas, John and Michelle Phillips, who wrote the song in the 60s. Barry McGuire first recorded/released it in '65.
I like plenty 'old' songs and singers/groups and this 60s song is one I like.
I didn't know Sia did it either and have yet to hear her version, but as a supporter of Jadyn Rylee, I love how she made it her own as per the original.

Love Jadyn my only criticism is why she needs to use auto-tone and voice enhancer her voice is great on its own.
