- A few years ago I released an instructional DVD of ventriloquism lessons called “How To Talk To Yourself.” It was included with my Little Jeff ventriloquist’s dummy, but that was the only way to get it! The lessons feature Walter, Peanut, Achmed, Little Jeff and myself showing you the ventriloquial basics in 10 easy parts! But who uses a DVD player anymore!? When the master teaches you a technique it means you're not even a threat. I mean us.
I’m really struggling with the “m” I feel like it still sounds like “n”. How do I get it to really sound like and “m”. Or is it more like when you say it it deceives your brain so it sounds like “m”?? Thank you soo much. This is great!
i think once you practice it enough it deceives the brain and sounds like “m” !
Idk if this helps but try to think m when you make the n sound it helps me sometimes

How do you do different voices
you learn the voices separately I think, and then combine it/them with your ventriloquism
Also try mommy made me mash my M&ms
I was amazed I’m saying Mary made matzah in Mexico and my parents don’t even tell the n’s and they don’t see my lips! 🤣

what if you have an over/under bite? do you line your jaw up so you teeth are together or do you keep you it back. ive been doing it so my teeth are lined up but its harder.
Ahaha with my underbite I absolutely could not do this the way my teeth naturally aligh

I'm learning to but I new the letter n substitutes the letter m befor I seen it.
Is becoming of ventriloquist easy or is it hard I've tried once with a puppet from the my Elementary School library in a mirror and I could never get it right how is it so easy just by saying the letter m
It's basically practicing over and over again.

Oh no hahaha it's very difficult...how many times I tried to practiced but I really can't....
But I don't have the money ?! I dream every day to buy a puppet like this is the dream of my life to buy it I have a great passion for the puppet I am happy when I write this just to express my feelings towards the puppet

jeff uve instired ne so nuch throughout ventriloquisn its alot easier if you just flit it all around the other way that you are talking avout (instead of using those letters to make the sound like n as an m its m as an n)
For all u guys wondering what matzah is, it is unleavened bread and is used in the Jewish religion during Passover
these are great but theres a serious lack of "what to do with you tongue" in these vids which would make it mcuh easier "correct practice" is bettert than trial and error to figure it out
