Thank you for the excellent video. Can you tell me if you can use it without the back?... just would want it for the lift up and down due to bad knees.... , and then I would want to just stretch out on my back while in the tub... ?.
This is exactly what my mom needs. Thanks!
Can this be used with bath salts or Epsom salt?
Love mine
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
How much is it
Looks useful, but I just can't get over my fear of water/electricity. I haven't taken a bath in years anyway. Showers just seem cleaner to me.
If you have a walk-in shower, just put a shower chair or waterproof patio chair in the walk-in shower.
Can you use this if you have a shower door
Yes, as long as the door opens wide enough to get it through the opening. The lift operates inside the tub walls and shouldn’t interfere with the door at all.
Excellent demonstration and explanation. We are considering this product, but my concern is that MAIDeSite's website and, for that matter, Amazon's listing hardly mentions the use of this in a bathtub at all. All their illustrations and examples are about getting up from the floor. They do say that it is waterproof. I'm wondering if we'd be better off getting a tub lift specifically designed for a water environment. (I suppose it's possible that all such products have dual functions in mind.) Thanks.
When I initially made these videos, they had two separate listings on Amazon. One for chair lift and another for bath lift. But because it was the same product, I suspect Amazon made them combine them into one. It is waterproof and also designed for use in tub. It actually started as a tub lift.
Just get your walk-in shower and put something in there to sit on.
Or the walk-in tub
@@annafiorentin7120that doesn’t offer the benefit of soaking in a warm tub.
Doesn't look high enough for people with sit to stand and balance problems
You are right but it's not designed for sit to stand applications. It's main function is to help you get over the tub edge safely and then to lower you down into the water and return you to a sitting position. It could help if poor balance keeps you from tripping over the tub edge. Hope this helps!
@@GrayingWithGrace Not using to stand but for falls. I asked because its hard to stand up from a chair with a seat height of 18 inches. So If the person falls will still need to get up off the seat after. If its not high enough without arm rests its very difficult for a person with no balance. Thanks
I'll be 66 in 2 months and I have never taken a bath after I was old enough to take care of myself.
I'm not sitting in no dirty water.
Is a shower for me everyday.
2 months worth just to take a bath you will be cold by the time you get out of it.
Just get a walk-in tub and put you something to sit on.
In the shower
