These last 2 visions were “unsealed” not that long ago. Not only must we understand all 5 of the visions, but it is equally important to study and understand them in the sequence they are presented as each vision builds on the preceding vision for context. God doesn’t play dice. Everything He does is on purpose. This is why to gain a good understanding of the visions; they must be understood in the order God presents them. So, until these 2 visions were unsealed, it was not possible to understand the visions accurately. Why very significant fact is ignored by established theologians is beyond me. Together, the 5 visions form a complete picture …as they are each from different perspectives on the same topic. Jesus will not come as a thief in the night for those of us who understand the visions. Jesus told us to be observant about the seasons. There has never before been a country nor a government like that of the USA. While Daniel does not tell us the exact day or hour of the unfolding events, he does provide vast information about what is happening - and is about to happen. One such significant piece of information is this: the vile person rises to power in the estate (the institution) of a leader known as a “raiser of taxes” whose time in power in cut short (only “for a few days”). This “raiser of taxes” leader who falls is also most likely one of the 3 kings to fall as the vile person rises to power. Didn’t Jesus tell us to be watchful of the “seasons”? The 5 visions need to be studied long and hard to understand without any prior framework. We also now have all the technology we need to execute Chapter 13 in Revelations as well. Additionally, Daniel is shown that the 4th war will be won by the final king of the north (the vile person and little horn) by “casting devices” on the military of the king of the south. What God has determined will happen, will happen. Nothing can stop it.

This is the beast of THE TIME of John's vision IN THE WILDERNESS. (Meaning that John is in the wilderness in his vision and not physical on Patmos, and he sees a beast that would come up from out of this wilderness. Read Job 38:26.) The 7th < "is not yet come" At the time of John's vision *in the wilderness* this head of the beast was yet to come; this is *the beast from out of the earth* [Rev 13:11]; (And he shall exercise all of the power of the first beast...) when this beast will speak like a dragon. This beast must continue a short time, as per the others before him. I believe by the testimony of Jesus, that we are now living in that "short time". The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. {Revelation 17:8} :11...even he is the eighth, AND IS OF THE SEVEN, and ascends out of the bottomless pit and goes into perdition. --There are seven heads at the time of John's vision, five kings/heads/beast are fallen, so this eighth is of the seven kingdoms...."that was"...."and is not"...."yet is" AND received a deadly wound; AND his deadly wound was healed. This wound is the loss of her (the woman/church that rides the beast.) temporal sword (also her captivity), which is the earthly secular world kingdom. This is the image of the beast (that great city), who like Babylon of antiquity, who thinks to usurp church and state craft. The number eight is a metaphor for the resurrection. The eighth is resurrected from a former head of the seven; the 5th head that received a deadly wound. (When he shall go into perdition: this will be the final dispensation of this beast with seven heads, that is a metaphor for satan.) Jesus; (The resurrection; Jn 11:25) Ἰησοῦς/Iēsous = 888 by counting the letter values of the Greek transliteration; I(10), E(8), S(200), O(70), U(400), S(200). In antiquity the mountain was not only a metaphor for a kingdom, but it was also symbolic of the head of a (river) dragon that was symbolic of a river that flows out from a mountain, after the spring thaw and overflowing its banks, spreading out in the form of the dragon's tail. The color is scarlet because it is symbolic of the blood of the saints of the Lord. A woman in prophecy is always a metaphor for a church, in this case (Jezebel) it is the fallen temple of God. The false prophet, a lamb (Christ like) with two horns, and/but will speak like a dragon (a wolf in sheep's clothing), will be the beast (from out of the earth ... the USA) that will make an image unto the first beast from out of the sea, who received a deadly wound and his deadly wound was healed. The two horns are a metaphor for two (equal) kingdoms in one, church and state craft. Medo-Persia also is expressed as having two horns [Dan 8:3], but one was higher, (Persia) and eventually usurps the other. This is the image of the first beast from out of the sea (Papal Rome). Once the wall of separation of church and state is lost, then will the second beast from out of the earth become the image of the first beast, who claims the authority of both church and state. Even so, come Lord Jesus. Amen.

As two of the visions were sealed until we had arrived at the time at the end, John would not have had a complete understanding of the visions. I have been led to focus only on Daniel's vision experiences for the most part, but I do feel that Revelations and Daniel completely tie in together. However, Daniel's vision are focused on the political sequence of events. God foresaw the need to place men of understanding on earth during the time at the end who would teach many. This is plainly stated in Daniel's last vision. Why would God do this? Is it because the long held traditional teachings about events past, present and future are not 100% correct? We will know very soon. Religious Bible scholars got it wrong at the time of Jesus, but that served a purpose. God never does something by accident. I hope to meet such men of understand.

I always chuckle at christians of whatever denomination who waste so much time on parsing the time of the rapture. I recently spoke with a man who just finished his manuscript on the rapture. R C Sproul contradicted the Scriptures by stating that, “people are born again then they believe the gospel.” No where in scripture does it say that. In fact it says the very opposite. R C Sproul believed more in his intellect than in what scripture says unfortunately.

The seven headed beast of Revelation 17:
The seven heads are symbolic of seven kingdoms, starting with the beast of Daniel chapter 7
1st < Babylon
2nd < Medo-Persia
3rd < Greece
4th < Pagan Rome
5th < Papal Rome; the little horn
("that was" & "is not" & "yet is")
6th < "one is"

The woman that rides the beast is in captivity at the time of John's vision, AFTER receiving the deadly wound from the (atheist) beast from the bottomless pit [Rev 11:7]. This is the beast of THE TIME of John's vision IN THE WILDERNESS.
(Meaning that John is in the wilderness in his vision and not physical on Patmos, and he sees a beast that would come up from out of this wilderness. Read Job 38:26.)
The 7th < "is not yet come"
At the time of John's vision *in the wilderness* this head of the beast was yet to come; this is *the beast from out of the earth* [Rev 13:11];
(And he shall exercise all of the power of the first beast...) when this beast will speak like a dragon.
This beast must continue a short time, as per the others before him.
I believe by the testimony of Jesus, that we are now living in that "short time".
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

:11...even he is the eighth, AND IS OF THE SEVEN, and ascends out of the bottomless pit and goes into perdition.
--There are seven heads at the time of John's vision, five kings/heads/beast are fallen, so this eighth is of the seven kingdoms...."that was"...."and is not"...."yet is" AND received a deadly wound; AND his deadly wound was healed.
This wound is the loss of her (the woman/church that rides the beast.) temporal sword (also her captivity), which is the earthly secular world kingdom.
This is the image of the beast (that great city), who like Babylon of antiquity, who thinks to usurp church and state craft.
The number eight is a metaphor for the resurrection. The eighth is resurrected from a former head of the seven; the 5th head that received a deadly wound.
(When he shall go into perdition: this will be the final dispensation of this beast with seven heads, that is a metaphor for satan.)

In antiquity the mountain was not only a metaphor for a kingdom, but it was also symbolic of the head of a (river) dragon that was symbolic of a river that flows out from a mountain, after the spring thaw and overflowing its banks, spreading out in the form of the dragon's tail.
The color is scarlet because it is symbolic of the blood of the saints of the Lord.
A woman in prophecy is always a metaphor for a church, in this case (Jezebel) it is the fallen temple of God.
The false prophet, a lamb (Christ like) with two horns, and/but will speak like a dragon (a wolf in sheep's clothing), will be the beast (from out of the earth ... the USA) that will make an image unto the first beast from out of the sea, who received a deadly wound and his deadly wound was healed.
The two horns are a metaphor for two (equal) kingdoms in one, church and state craft.
Medo-Persia also is expressed as having two horns [Dan 8:3], but one was higher, (Persia) and eventually usurps the other.
This is the image of the first beast from out of the sea (Papal Rome). Once the wall of separation of church and state is lost, then will the second beast from out of the earth become the image of the first beast, who claims the authority of both church and state.
Even so, come Lord Jesus. Amen.
@@larrybedouin2921 In Daniel's vision experiences, other than a chronology of great kingdoms in the first vision, we are told are about the "time at the end". As two of the visions were sealed until we had arrived at the time at the end, John would not have had a complete understanding of the visions. I have been led to focus only on Daniel's vision experiences for the most part, but I do feel that Revelations and Daniel completely tie in together. However, Daniel's vision are focused on the political sequence of events. God foresaw the need to place men of understanding on earth during the time at the end who would teach many. This is plainly stated in Daniel's last vision. Why would God do this? Is it because the long held traditional teachings about events past, present and future are not 100% correct? We will know very soon. Religious Bible scholars got it wrong at the time of Jesus, but that served a purpose. God never does something by accident. I hope to meet such men of understand.

Yea, he [the little horn beast power] magnified even to the prince [Jesus Christ] of the host [God's saints on earth], and by him the daily [paganism continually] was lifted up, and *the place* of his [Jesus heavenly] sanctuary was cast down.

I've studied them for years. They fit together as a lock and key.
I always chuckle at christians of whatever denomination who waste so much time on parsing the time of the rapture. I recently spoke with a man who just finished his manuscript on the rapture. What a waste of time and resources! We have no control on the event. A black preacher I admire said: “Wear a loose suit and keep looking up!” 😅🎉

R C Sproul contradicted the Scriptures by stating that, “people are born again then they believe the gospel.” No where in scripture does it say that. In fact it says the very opposite. R C Sproul believed more in his intellect than in what scripture says unfortunately.
Could you say what scripture you are quoting? Jesus did say to the rich young man when he asked how he could enter the kingdom of God, and Jesus answered,,, you must be born again, doesn’t that indicate we must be blood baptized by Jesus own blood to enter his kingdom?

I thank God that I baptized none of you , but Crispus and Gaius; 1:15..Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. 1:16..And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides I know not whether I baptized any other….1st Corinthians 1:17… For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Jesus should be made of none effect……the blood is the method of salvation,,, the water baptism was started in Babylon in the synagogue by the Pharisees, they made it law that all natural born Jew men had to be washed in water, give money, goat or turtle doves depending on what you could afford, the water baptism they came up with for the proselytizing of Gentiles who wanted to part of the land of Israel,,, it was for money they did this. Jesus was baptized to fulfill all prophecy, it wasn’t a part of God’s law till after the years they were in bondage to Babylon.
