Exactly! Nintendo always has something up their sleeve. Same thing with ps5 and ps5 pro. I’m Thinking an OLED will definitely show up eventually if it’s not already on the base console 😊

First of all, 100% people are jumping to conclusions to quickly, they showed literally nothing in that trailer and of course the interesting stuff about the console is gonna be in the direct but there is a couple points I will debate.
7:44 why does people keep bringing this up when it just doen't work, first of all, you very conviniently leaved out the first two consoles wich where both very successful, so what, this curse just randomly apeared one gen? And also of course we aren't counting the handhelds where with every console for 4 entire generations nintendo just dominated the market almost uncontested, the gameboy was a huge success, then the gba sold amazing, then the DS became the second (now third) best selling console of all time, and then 3ds was around as successful as the gba, finally the switch is probably the best selling console of all time, wich is another thing, I would argue the switch is mainly a portable but whatever.
10:15 Here I think there is a bit of a confusion on your part, mainly on who where most of the people talking and making noise about the rumors, I think you feel there's been a sudden change in opinions because the people now talking about and dissapointed on switch 2 are not the same that where talking about and exicet about the rumors. I think up until like this first 2 weeks of january most people and specially the nintendo fans that grew up with their consoles and love gaming didn't really hear anything concrete about the rumors and leaks, mainly that there where a lot of rumors and leaks. And so the people that you would mostly see when they actually got big where the kind of people that where there from the start of the leaks and rumors, the kind that where rumoring a switch pro in 2017, right the launch year of the console. This are the kind of people that go to IGNs forums to fight the console wars for example, and this kind of people DO care about the rumors and do like them, me personally, when I saw the first leak I though "I hope is not real, or not just that, cause I expect more from nintendo"
Finally I would like to bring a different perspective on switch 2 just being switch but more powerful to the table. Mostly because it's just what makes sense, I too was expecting switch 2 to be switch but better/more, although with a little hope that they might just gamble it with something completley different. But In my case, how I envisioned a "switch 2" was fairly different to how it's been. In my head it was something more on the lines of the 3DS, basically the same console, but more powerful, with a clearly distinct identity and desing based around calling back to the original and with at least one new thing that was flashy, but not necessarily enough to make something completley different out of.
Compared to the original DS, the 3DS was kept colorful, tiny and figetty, but it also felt more elegant, porwerful and inmersive just by i'ts exterior alone. The design of the console itself told you so much about it and it was not only very apealing, but also very distinct so it felt like something completley new.
On the other hand the switch 2 is a more minimalistic version of an already minimalist console, that just looks like your black, standard, boring tech thing, and the logo is just a 2 in arial put aside. They could've just made the exact same console, same name, same specs, but change the font and put the 2 between the controllers in the logo and change the shell of the console to make it look slightly more interesting and it would've been 100 times better. And yes, I hated the name PS5 too, it's not beacuse is nintendo, at least back in the PS2 they had the decency to change the logo too. -_-

I love this! The point of the video is to discuss about what’s been going on with the feedback both good and bad about the Switch 2. I mentioned the statistic because it started really showing its head with the n64 going into gamecube but ofcourse the nes and snes were massive successes! I didn’t mention the handhelds just cause I wanted to focus on the consoles although with the switch being what it is I can see how that’s tricky LOL. Again the video is just basically me saying let’s wait and see what happens next before we go to in depth with the console itself. Regardless of what they announce/reveal I am beyond excited for nintendos next console! Thank you for your feedback 😁
