Man this just made me realize Hinata never talks about his interests. Whenever someone would bring up what he likes or what he'll do in the future, he'd either dodge it or the dialogue ends. The only thing i got from this was him learning balloon modelling, his interest in some video games and him reading novels and various books. (Although everyone can really do that) What makes me happy about this is the fact that THE hajime hinata, is accepting himself as a person, without talent, but as himself. In the anime and ingame, he was insecure about himself for being talentless. But now hes here with everyone casually. I just admire that from him.

I'm probably just reading too much into this but perhaps the reason why he was chosen to be Izuru among thousands of Reserve Course students was not only because he admired Hope's Peak, but also maybe because he had some kind of innate potential that was never truly realized because of various circumstances. This is just my speculation though so take it with a grain of salt...
Hajime is much more of a goodie-two-shoes than I thought he'd be at first. But it does make sence, with him being from the reserve course and all. Also I really wanna see more from Twogami! Hes such an interesting character! I'm glad were finnaly able to see more of him!
after watching this video and the izuru one, i noticed that alot of the interactions are the same scenarios (character and location being the same, just that hajime and izuru are different). I like that it helps show how different they are and how they would react when coming face to face with the same people
as someone who likes komahina I Know this comment section is gonna be filled with comments about it although I don't know for sure since the video was just posted but if there are because well this is the danganronpa fandom, please remember the ship isn't the only thing about nagito and hajime and hajime is a good character, I wanna see a fair number of comments about hajime too not just komahina
Yep! Hajime and Nagito are separate characters outside of romance, just as everyone needs to be to have a healthy life. Though their dynamic is fantastic when they’re together, they’re still meaningful characters on their own.
yes!! they are both such well written characters with an especially complex relationship in the game/free time events and i think people should focus more on the individual characters, even if they are like me and have an unhealthy obsession with the two

Hajime's explicitly involved in story mode, meaning his and Izuru's presence in the timeline can't be mutually exclusive, so it looks like in this au/timeline, Izuru's creation made Hajime more like Toko instead of more like Ryoko. Because the dialogue and hope fragment don't support him being an npc, and nothing has supported him being a clone or a robot. EDIT: I take back my guess about Izuru's mirroring scenes always occurring after Hajime's, cuz that doesn't actually fit with the order of their parallel scenes.
Further evidence that Hajime's and Izuru's events aren't the same timeframe in different timelines: in Hajime's route, Kirumi is serving matcha cake, peach parfait and French toast sandwiches to him and Chiaki. In Izuru's, she's serving black tea cakes, strawberry parfaits and tuna crêpes.
Out of matching interactions, Hajime's go in the order Monokuma, Chihiro&Leon, Mahiru&Mikan, Sayaka, Gundham, Nagito&Ryoma, Kirumi&Chiaki, Byakuya, Hiyoko, and Himiko. This may be biased because I dhip Hajine and Chiaki, but I love how Hajime and Chiaki interacted. Two best friends (with implied feelings) have a really good chemistry! Also with Hajime helping Mikan is wholesome; Mikan deserves more like the helping hand, considering what she went through.
