Which is why I kept saying that lyrical rappers tend to make songs like this a lot such as eminem, bushido, hopsin, etc. always talking about how they can’t stand new rap and how they’re the “real” thing and everyone who doesn’t love them is brain dead.

He doesn't say that rappers can't wear chains or expensive stuff. He has not even said that they shouldn't wear designer clothes. All he is saying is, that they have no style anyways. No matter how much their outfits cost.

It's kinda hard to appreciate Genetikk's genius if you're a non german speaker, not impossible just harder.
The song criticizes the commercialization of rap music in Germany. A lot of rappers in Germany are very similar to one another and newcomers also try to follow a similar style in order to be popular. For example they sing a lot more rather than actually rapping, and the music they make all has very similar content. Rap has devolved into being the same as Pop, where hundreds of new rappers pop up that are all pretty much the same with little that sets them apart from their peers, however, it is these creatively bankrupt and cookie-cutter rappers that become successful whereas rappers that actually rap and are distinct from the others (like Genetikk) are heavily overlooked. Rap is slowly becoming like Pop and Genetikk is taking a stand and saying that rappers that still represent the original values and ideals of the genre do exist.
Edit: also the MCas line is a play on words between the word MC and the german word for Messiah; "Messias"

Mode gehört auch seit Tag 1 zu Hip Hop. Das Ding ist bloß, dass Rap aktuell der absolute Mainstream ist und daher alle das selbe tragen etc.
Damals war es die kleine Hip Hop Szene und jetzt sind es gefühlt 80%

& nah that’s not sad at all. People listen & feel music in different ways. Not one way is right or wrong. As long as the music is lifting someone’s spirits/energy or the person enjoys listening then you shouldn’t have a problem with it as it doesn’t affect you. People that mainly listen to music for the message (lyrical) and those who mainly listen for the beat & delivery, tend to listen to what they do because they enjoy it and it makes them happy. No need to look down on others music interest🤓

Not everyone listens to music through lyrics🤷🏼♀️ even with music in the US that I fully understand I don’t necessarily like it. I feel emotion through the beats and the energy/emotion u can hear in an artists voice. Not everyone needs to listen/feel music the same way.

the point you are making at 12:20 is exactly the thing that the whole song is about! The song released in a time where German Rap was all about copying beats from songs that went viral in the US. Thats also why he states that everyone is the same by saying "I dont even know who is who" because there is a wide range of german rappers that acutally do sound the same / have the same style. The ones you mentioned were actually not targeted by those fronts (at least, thats what I think).

5:59 there’s definitely something like this. Sometimes it’s called „Rap über Rap“ (Rap about Rap) meaning all you Rap about is how good you are at rapping and how bad other people are at it.
One of the most respected German rappers Kool Savas is the target of that „criticism“ and has addressed it on his own songs.
Also some people didn’t like that about Eminem later record. He kinda sounded like a bitter old man.
So yeah, only „complaining“ about other rappers (especially younger ones) can be one note and get boring.
Although I’d say it’s still more interesting than having 10 tracks on an album talking about the money and clocks you’re making, the clothes you’re wearing, the cars you’re driving and the fact that you don’t like the police.

He‘s making fun of everything all these new rappers like mero etc. stand for/rap about. "I don’t understand this and that. I do whatever, i have such and such..." talking about the lack of any lyrical sense and just the whole "being rich and wearing designer stuff" and all the other things that make their image. But i don‘t think it‘s not just hating on that stuff, but more hating on the fact that rap isn‘t anymore about what it used to be or what it was supposed to be about.
Edit: Also "like "glitter" like a lil bitch", isn‘t meant as in legit glitter, but Glitzer refers to all the iced out stuff because "glitzern"(glitter, sparkle) is what those diamonds do. ("Roli glitzer glitzer" from capi, luciano and eno for reference)

If you like the different genres getting together to an own style, you should defenitly listen to Casper, e. g.: Casper - Auf und Davon. (Also check out TJ Beastboy, whom is aspecially nice if you appriciate flow switches. B4ller for example.)
I think, Genetikk tries to make the point, that a lot of new school tracks sound alike, because (like he says) they are like Schlager, which is also monothematic and which can be made very easily and fast. On top of that for him (and Eminem also feels that way, I guess) it's insulting to put so little effort in art. It takes more time and effort to create "old school" rap by telling an interesting story in the well chosen wording, like he frequently does on his albums.
Hopefully my English isn't too bad, so the substance will be well received.
You could react to lucky like from AK Ausserkontrolle. It’s 2months old but is really sick you should also read something about AK’s life. The music is good but when you know what the lyrics mean and know what he did in his life you can feel the music. He is one of the only German rappers who tell the truth in their lyrics
