The thicc thighs are on point... I never noticed that Melon had that reptilian head ridge. But they scooped out his skull's lower mids and presence band.

I mean, they almost drew his head as if, when he was but a newborn baby, with such an impressionable little head, his momma fell asleep with Melon upright in her lap, and as she listed forward in her stupor, her boobs smushed into the top of his head for the next 8 hours, only broken by the gentle oscillations due to her allergy breathing, bouncing those things like soft jello pile drivers into his delicate skull. But the weird thing is, other than the very slightest hint of dinosaur ancestry, his head doesn't even look remotely like that depiction in the meatcanyon. Which makes it funny in a way, tho still it's borderline inaccurate trash talk. But I'll let it slide, since they got all the other details right.

2:49 This is actually an animation artifact known as _Unmoving Plaid_ that you get from pattern overlays.
Making it move realistically is a lot of work in 2D, so most artists understandably can't be bothered with that.
There's definitely many aspects where you can commend MeatCanyon on his attention to detail.
But using this particular detail where he _couldn't_ be bothered for attention to detail, to point out his attention to detail, is rather ironic.
When the meatcanyon melon saw the irl melon in the mirror, I was really happy to know you were involved in this video.

Pretty cool to see a non "mainstream" creator is basically the new South Park, just like South Park was once a little counterculture thing that became hugely successful later on. The cycle continues.

Its not really using him as self promotion anyway except in the sense that it brings attention to the fact that the thing exists.
Even at the end of the animation where Anthony "learns to love music again" he still gives the EP a "strong 3 to a light 4" so its not like absurd swlf gratification.
